Can L Have This Dance Novels & Stories

"I'm so excited. My brother told me you're the best in Abuja. He said you used to dance in Lagos. He said you were famous. I've been so worried about the first dance—I don't want to step on my husband's feet. I'm a terrible dancer, really. Everyone says so. I have two left feet. I'm completely hopeless." Zara blinked. She had not expected this. This girl was nothing like Dante. She was sunshine and light and complete, joyful chaos. "I'm sure you're not hopeless," Zara said carefully. "Everyone has rhythm. It's just a matter of finding it." "See?" Amara turned to Dante, who was leaning against the doorframe, watching them. "I told you she'd be nice. Most people are so mean about my dancing."

She offers. I had not thought about the possibility of a dance before. This might be exactly what we need. A way to let loose but still celebrate our ancestors. What else could we ask for? The idea makes me grin as I nod at Elle. I also happen to know somebody else that I could ask about it.

Nakita ko itong tumayo at nagpaalam kay Mom saka naglakad patungo sa table namin subalit napaiwas ako ng tingin dahil sa tanong ni Andres. "Can I dance with you?" "No, he is dancing with me," seryosong sabi ni Dan na sa akin nakatingin. Umiwas ako ng tingin sa kanya at binalingan ko ang pinsan nitong nalilito ang hitsura saka ako ngumiti.

For all their arguing the past three hours, they seem completely in love and, for a small moment, I wish I had that. “Can I have this dance?” Dalon asks me, making me jump. He is closer than I expected, his eyes completely focused on me and not on the couple dancing. “Can you dance?” I ask him, honestly surprised. I know he can dance to a fast beat, know he can party like any normal guy his age and, with his lifestyle, his dance moves are all over the internet, but I have never seen him dance formally, or with a partner.

Abbie laughed happily and said, "Forget about it. Let's get ready for the dance. I think you'll get first prize for sure today!" "I don't want to get my hopes up. Don't forget that Paisley's piano was also very impressive." "This is just for fun. You're not being professionally judged. I think having the three handsome men as accompaniments really added bonus points for you, so you'll definitely make it to the top," Abbie was very confident. Valeria shook her head with a smile. Abbie was too confident anyway. Many couples went up to perform for the following dance performances. Among the dance genres like tango, rumba, chacha, and samba, Ashley chose chacha because she didn't have a male par

A bright smile forms on his face as he leads me to the dance floor. He wraps his hands around my waist making me shiver. This kinda feels wrong but also right. I know Alpha Liam is unmated so there is nothing holding him back. I think I am the only one who is having second thoughts. Liam is quite a good dancer unlike me who keeps paying attention to my feet so that I don't end up stepping him. I am not that bad at dancing, but you know when you meet with a professional, you start doubting your own skills.

Lara It's showtime. We're dancing. There's no sign of Dexter as he didn't book a session with me beforehand. I still have to do this, though, as people might find it suspicious if I only ever dance when Dexter is around. Anyone could book me. I'm prepared for that, too.

I hastily suggested. “Nonsense! It'll be an honor for them to dance on the same floor as me.” He argued. I would've rolled my eyes at his words if I wasn't so busy rummaging my head for another excuse. “Uhm… dance. I can't waltz, I'll definitely step on your toes or something and I can't do that to the King, can I?” It was a lie, I definitely know how to waltz. Apart from the traditional dance I learnt with instructor Karl, I also learnt a few other dances like the waltz.

“Well lucky for you, I am not here to judge your skills, just felt like twirling a pretty girl around the dance floor for a bit.” Pretty girl? He thinks I am pretty! My cheeks warm, and I try to play it cool. He pulls me out to the dance floor by my hand, moving in time with the beat even as he gets us out there. I took dance classes for years before the collapse, but that was for jazz, ballet, things like that. This sultry latin vibe they have going here tonight is something I have only tried out with people on the farm. God, I hope I don’t embarrass myself.

“Thanks, man. I’m a lucky son of a bitch.” He scoffed at that. “Nah,” he said, swatting the air. “You deserve this.” “Kian, come and dance with me!” Gia beckoned, waving me over to the middle of the room. Blade obliged Lauren with a slow dance to Foreigner’s “Waiting For A Girl Like You.” My shoulders sagged, and I grimaced as if to say, “Seriously? Do I have to?” Inside the Cage, I could move like lightning, but out on the dance floor, I had two left feet and gigantic shoes. There was no way I could pull all that Patrick Swayze shit, even if they had shoved my baby in the corner.
