The Cure Is you

The Cure Is you

I drizzled olive oil and a touch of butter on each slice, setting them in the pan to toast. “Now—eggs,” I declared. I filled a pot with water. “Temperature’s key. Just below boiling—no angry bubbles. Add vinegar so the whites stay together. And remember, you don’t drop the egg in like you’re punishing it. You cradle it. Gently. Like an intern.” “I don’t deal with interns,” he muttered, reaching for a random bottle. I turned in time to see him unscrewing a bottle of sesame oil. “Adrian!” I lunged and grabbed it from him. “That’s sesame oil. For stir-frying. Do you want our breakfast to taste like burnt regrets and bad decisions?”

1001 Ways to Make My Husband Cheat

1001 Ways to Make My Husband Cheat

“I’ll demonstrate first how to make a simple sunny side up egg.” Ana turned on the stove and placed a pan on it. “First, heat the pan, then add a little oil. This is optional so it won’t stick and will be easier to lift.” Ana sprayed something onto the pan. “Tap the shell against a hard surface, then crack it over the pan. I suggest starting with one egg to make it easier.” Ana picked up an egg, tapped it on the edge of the pan, and cracked it open with one hand. The egg landed right in the centre of the pan, the yolk formed a perfect circle.

Mafia Men V - Marco's Vengeance

Mafia Men V - Marco's Vengeance

Lilianna »»»◈««« Today, Mrs. Moore took me under her wing in the kitchen, beginning with the fundamentals: mastering the art of cooking sunny-side-up eggs. As she cracked the eggs into the sizzling skillet, her experienced hands' guided mine, teaching me the delicate balance between heat and timing to achieve the perfect golden yolks and tender whites. Standing boldly by the stove, I confidently cracked an egg, but in my eagerness, I applied too much force, resulting in a messy, smashed egg in my hand. The gooey mess dripped between my fingers. Quietly, I retreated to the sink, washed my hands, and returned to Mrs. Moore's side. Her exasperated sigh hung in the air, but I didn't let it deter

This story and all the rest of Janedoewritings(also known as JD) deserve more than 5 stars. Her writing is beyond anything you can imagine. I am a true fan of her writing, and so will you be. I can write praises of her books to you, but I challenge you to read even just one of her Mafia Men stories.

Breaking up Over One Cup of Yogurt

Breaking up Over One Cup of Yogurt

"Victor, why do you keep pulling these dirty tricks?" I was confused. "What do you mean?" She scoffed. "You said you wanted to break up, but I know you just wanted to let the whole company know that we're dating. Didn't I tell you that there's no need to make it public in case someone misunderstands?" I looked down at my wrist, which was turning red from her grasp. I suddenly felt exhausted. It always turned out like this. As soon as I complained even a little bit, I would be considered immature, sulking, and out of my mind.

A Crazy Night with My Ex's Uncle

A Crazy Night with My Ex's Uncle

Could this mean. No, I shouldn't assume. The omelet began to crackle loudly behind me and the edges were browning as the water evaporated from the pan. I jumped up, nearly dropping my phone, and rushed to switch off the burner. “Get it together,” I whispered to myself as I slid the slightly overcooked omelet into a plate.

Captive Of The Count

Captive Of The Count

He gestured waving his hand up the length of me and I flinched, "-thing and I demand to know what is going on and do not fucking tell me to guess or work it out myself!" "Well you see," My mouth moved, Amara, do not talk, do not blab, hold it, hold it, control yourself, but I couldn't hold myself back, "It is a beautiful morning for pancakes and we were making some. It's my first time making pancakes, I messed some up but I promise I didn't mess up the rest," Hector and Imelda gave me strange looks, "Can you believe you need eggs, flour, milk, butter, and vanilla essence to make pancakes and you don't put them in an actual pan like when you bake cakes, you just pour the batter on the pan and

I am liking the story and definitely hooked. My personal opinion, I wish Amara wasn't so naive after what happened to her when she was younger. However, as Amara's story develops the personality type seems to make sense. I look forward to reading more chapters and watching for those updates.

This book is a sequel to “The Alpha King’s Rejected Mate” and should be read after the first book. Plot was very interesting and the enemies to lovers vibe was super intense! The book could use proofreading, but overall a great story with a HEA! :)

HE SAVE ME

HE SAVE ME

Grace beams, her face about to split in half. “That sounds fun. I would love that” I nod, looking over to Daniel. “I’m down” “I Second that” Daniel and Luke answer at the same time. “No, you take the egg, crack it onto the skillet and let it cook. Don’t move it at all. So then when you’re eating it you can break it. It’s even better on a sandwich” Luke explains, causing me to wince. I don’t like runny eggs at all. Mine needs to be as dry as the Sahara desert.

Scentless Bonds

Scentless Bonds

A small smile quick to rise even as I carefully climb from the bed. My feet quick in leading me towards the kitchen. A piece of me deciding to make breakfast for those who were present. My hand quick in opening the refrigerator door while my eyes scanned over what we had. My eyes soon spotting that of eggs, bacon, sausage, and cheese as well as peppers. The perfect combination to make omelets. Wolves typically hungry once up from there naps and my mates weren’t any better. A soft hum rising within me as I carefully worked on making the first omelet, for while cooking wasn’t my thing I would at least try my best if it meant feeding those I loved.

What's Broken Can't Be Made Whole

What's Broken Can't Be Made Whole

I already wanted to leave—I just needed a clear reason to make a clean break. Maybe it was my mother-in-law's cooking that didn't agree with me, but my morning sickness was brutal. Day and night, I spent most of my time throwing up in the bathroom. "Ella, dinner's ready!" I'd barely sat down when another wave of nausea hit. After finally recovering in the bathroom, I overheard Zachary scolding his mother. "Mom, can't you try making different dishes? Ella doesn't like these." It was true—her cooking really didn't sit well with me.
