Adam I stood transfixed to the ground like I was electrocuted. I'm really shocked by that expectation. I was shocked that I had to stare at the girl in complete shock. I could feel a different sparkle of shock run down my spine. I'm still in a great dilemma, I find it hard to believe that she just fell down for the sky. I couldn't fathom how she fell down from the sky. I stood still, staring at her with complete shock. This is really more than my imagination. I couldn't believe this. I stood with my legs, wobbling in fear.

Panic rushes over my body and I suddenly jolt upright… making her fall from the bed with a thud. ________

“ Yo….you…you!” She fell heavily to the ground as her waist couldn't support her weight any more.

“You wouldn’t have heard of it. It’s strictly between heaven, hell and the fallen.” “What’s a fallen?” “It’s someone who used to be an angel in a past life. When they’re resurrected, they’re identified by a specific birth mark. You, my dear, are one of the fallen. You should have a birth mark that’s shaped like a star. It’s in different places for different individuals but your parents found yours on your hipbone.” What the hell. This is way too much information that I wasn’t expecting. I’m essentially in the middle of a holy war, if what she’s saying is the truth.

Lucas moves closer to the edge of the hill, still holding her hand in his. " Are you ready?", He asks as he stares at the ground, the ground didn't look far from up but the obstacles on it is what scares Emily. " Yes", Emily swallows hard and involuntarily tightens her hold on his hand in a firm grip. With a light push, Emily yelps as she skids down the hill. She stumbles upon a rock and fall. Emily hits her stomach on a rock which shoots pain all over her body.

"Guess I'll just have to keep reminding you why you fell for me in the first place, then." Gah. I can't wait.

For now, I just wait and watch. And watch them fall.

Afraid someone might see me. ‎ ‎I raised my hand and tried to flag down a taxi. ‎ ‎None stopped. ‎ ‎I opened my phone and ordered an Uber. ‎ ‎Request declined. ‎ ‎I tried again. ‎ ‎Declined. ‎ ‎Again. ‎ ‎Declined. ‎ ‎The rain grew heavier. ‎ ‎Water splashed against the pavement and drifted beneath the shade, dampening my clothes little by little. ‎ ‎Still, I didn't move. ‎ ‎I just stood there.

Kael slowly descended the last subway step before continuing quietly. “I expect you to survive long enough to decide for yourself.”

I don’t know if I want to run— Or fall.
