I wait patiently for Keith to show up. We'd made plans to go watch a movie tonight and I must say , I'm looking forward to it. We'd texted back and forth in the afternoon, and he'd suggested that we go out for a movie tonight. Now here I am, still waiting for him. I know that he's a bit late and I have no doubt he might be tied up at work. I just hope he'll be able to make it because if he doesn't, no doubt I'll be a little disappointed but I'll still understand. He is a busy man.

We are going out.” Vincent rolled his eyes and stood between the two so he faced both of them, Connor still bouncing excitedly at Landon’s side. “Seriously? You came in here to invite yourself to the club? What do you guys need?” Connor chuckled, trying to lighten the mood. “What’s gotten you all twisted up, Vince. Just chill. We were checking to see if the new machines ate approved yet.” “You know I will tell you when they’re done, Connor,” Vince ground out.

I stepped back, already contented with the little that I had said. Later that same night, I sat nervously in my apartment, my eyes glued to my phoneas I stared crazily at it like a teenager dying to get a reply from a crush who never knew about his existence. But there was no reply, nothing. No texts at all. No calls to confirm she had seen it. At least, common meme from Mason would have helped in setting my heart at rest, but none of that happened.
