"What the fuck do you think you’re doing? This wasn’t the job my dad paid you to do." Matteo’s jaw tightened. "Your father's money has nothing to do with what happens here," Matteo said, his tone dropping an octave. "You are the captain. You are supposed to lead by example. If the captain walks out the moment he gets frustrated, wouldn’t that be happening every now and then." I stared at him, a humorless smile forcing its way onto my lips. "You're a hypocrite, Matt. You talk about commitment, but you're the one who walked away first."

Alessia said, her voice dropping flat and cold. It snapped me out of my spiraling thoughts. I had completely forgotten she was still in my place, and my brain scrambled trying to figure out how to get her out without causing a scene. "Nico," she pressed, a sharp edge entering her words when I stayed silent. "Mmh?" I grumbled, following her gaze toward the TV. I sat up fast the second I registered the screen. It was the captain of 'The Serpent'—a total legend, my absolute idol, and the star of the pro team that invited us overseas to train with them at their camp.

I reached down and rested my hand lightly on his forearm, right over the dark sleeve of his jacket. The second my skin made contact with his arm through the fabric, a sharp jolt of electric heat zipped up my palm. Nikolai went completely motionless. He looked down at my hand on his arm, his chest rising and falling in deep, controlled breaths as my touch anchored his chaotic energy. "Sit down, Captain," I said, my voice quiet, firm, and full of command, though my own heart was hammering against my ribs. "I'll handle this." Nikolai stared at me for three long, breathless seconds. The red tint in his pupils slowly vanished, leaving behind a dark, burning blue that held me completely captive. S

"But by then the damage was already done. No one cared about the truth. They just cared about the story." She leaned back in her chair, her fingers drumming once on the armrest. "And your old team? What happened there?" "My captain suspended me," I said, the bitterness creeping into my tone before I could stop it. "He said it reflected badly on the team. He did not care that I was innocent. He just wanted me gone." "Captain Jeremiah," she said, and my head snapped up. She knew. She knew about Alaric. "You did your research," I said quietly.

“And I pray they keep Napoleon in Elba until he dies.” “I couldn’t agree more.” So far everything was in Gabe’s favor, yet, what his uncle said really didn’t tell Gabe what he wanted to know. “Uncle, I heard a rumor not too long ago that has me greatly confused.” “What is it?” “I heard that you are related to that fearsome pirate, Captain Hawk, who sails on the Avenger, and attacks passenger ships.” “What is this?” Henry’s eyes widened. “Out of all the rumors circling round about that pirate, I’m surprised my name was mixed up in it.”

Israfel knocked on the door and told the captain from outside. The door opened in a sudden and the pirate who knocked the door startled. Captain Black Beard was very prepared with his black beard well comb, his hair style down leashed, his brown shoes, captain pirate black war robe, and his proud weapon attached on his pants belt. He is obviously ready to attack with an outfit for he believes that it will be special day to kill the prophet. He goes to the ship together with his pirates, Lord Daemon and his disciples. The prisoners were left in the dungeon guarded and the outside of the palace and village were also guarded. After all the needed weapons were packed up, they immediately fly out

she grabbed his hands and walked towards Paul. "I want to formally introduce you to each other. Pauly this is my boyfriend, Cater who's a captain in the military. And Carter, this is Pauly I mean Paul. I'm sorry, I was used to calling him that. He's my co-actor on the series and a good and close friend of mine." she smiled at them while the two men shake their hands. "Nice to meet you, Captain". Paul knew that from how Carter looks at him that he doesn't want him to be around Isabella.

said the captain, with all the courage he could muster, “then, you are definitely on the wrong ship. I advise you stay off the hook, or else, by God, I swear to have you all over the water.” The Gypsies were ruffled by this statement, and several of them drew their weapons, which rather infuriated the Captain Rustenburg even more. However, the leader of the gypsies stopped his men from drawing their weapons, and taking off his disguise, the Captain could not help but fall at the feet of the newcomer, one whom he had never expected, the Rajah of India!

After wandering, I looked back at the captain. "I called you all to tell all of you that starting today, that lady will be joining us. Any objections?" He said while pointing at me made everyone look at me at the same time. I looked down not because I'm afraid but because I'm uncomfortable with their stares. Someone raised his hands. "Captain, we want to know why you'll let her join us, The Hellbender?" he asked. The Hellbender? That aquatic salamander? "A deal happened between the two of us. A deal that both of us can benefit." He answered honestly. Is he that opened all the time with his crew?

tug Captain Ernst Heppel observed. The captain was as old as Methuselah—or at least looked it. With both hands on the oak wheel, feet planted on the varnished floor in a seaman’s stance that rolled with the tide, his unkempt hair protruding from his soiled cap, and his grizzled chin curtain as grey and gnarled as the rope beard adorning the tug’s bow, the man certainly struck an image of venerable antiquity. George grunted agreement.
