He snapped a wrist shot into the top corner of the net so hard the black puck rattled violently inside the twine. Ethan slammed his stick against the plexiglass in celebration, cheering. Damon coasted backward, turning toward the stands to wipe sweat from his brow with his glove. His dark eyes scanned the perimeter until they locked onto me standing by the tunnel. Even from fifty feet away across a crowded ice rink, I saw his entire demeanor shift. The ruthless, cutthroat captain melted away. A tiny, quiet smile touched his lips—a private, subtle look meant entirely for me. My betraying heart gave a sudden, painful flutter. I couldn't help it. I smiled back.

He smirked and gestured between us like we were old friends. “Stacey, this is Sebastian,” he said smoothly. “Sebastian, this is my girl, Stacey.” I gave her a small, polite nod. “Hey.” Her face was surprised with her mouth almost opening wide, like she had just discovered the juiciest piece of gossip in all of Hawthorne. I stood up and responded to her. "Nice to meet you too," I replied and she smiled sweetly at me. "As expected from a noble lady, you're greetings are perfect." She said. I kinda feel like she just sugarcoated her mocking from me. As if she can defeat me when it comes to proper courtesy. "Yes thank you," I replied. "Then allow me to introduce to you all the pillars of the Hellbender Pirates." She sweetly said. "This guy right here who looks exactly like the captain is Jake Maldice, captain's twin." She said and pointed to Jake. I looked at him and nodded, he nodded back and gulped.

She suddenly realized that she had come to the ship with Jake and he would be worried about her. She was about to stand up when someone struck her on the head with a bat and she fell overboard. As she landed in the water, there was the sound of a splash. Jake who had been looking for her, turned as his attention was drawn to the splash. He ran toward the edge of the ship and asked, "Tiffany, is that you?" When he looked around but couldn't find her, he looked down toward the water and saw someone struggling. Inside the water, Tiffany felt dizzy as her vision became blurry. She was a good swimmer but because she had been struck on the head she could barely figure out what was happening to her

"Who would want us gone?" His stare was incredulous. "Really? How much of that solution did you inhale?" Realization crashed over me as tears spilled down my cheeks. "Cadmus," I whispered. The van lurched to a halt. The back doors swung open, and three new captives were thrown in with us. A man with broad shoulders and a muscular frame landed beside me, causing Pirate to tighten his arm around my shoulders. "Hello," I whispered, reaching out to touch the stranger's hand.

Jade and Javier sat next to each other, along with a middle-aged stranger with a mop of slick-back hair. The stranger had been ogling at Jade since she had boarded the plane, and his gaze only intensified after he located their respective seats. It was obvious that Jade’s alluring beauty and figure had ignited flames in his loins. Javier would never let such a thing come to pass. He quickly moved Jade to the window seat, while he sat in between her and the stranger, blocking the latter’s view.

I asked curiously. "He's Captain Barbossa, Jackson is Will Turner and Blake is Jack Sparrow. They had a marathon of all the Pirates of the Caribbean films a couple of nights ago and so they all dressed as their favourite character," Jamie said. Now I really did want to see the three of them because I would pay good money to see all three of them dressed as those for fun.
