He almost looks as if he is made of metal. The four commanders sit down across from the Kea females who were first in line, and the announcer clears his voice. "Next up are the Captains. I’ve now read this book twice. It was fantastic the first time and I caught things I missed the second time. Great storyline, no rushing through the story and I felt like it ended with no loose ends. Can’t wait to read about more of the characters in the next book!

The Captive

The Captive

"So I was promoted by the loan shark as I was once a regular slave basically hence why I'm a Chief slave now. I tend to the affairs of the other slaves. I noticed you had not gotten any food to eat because I was the one who distributed the meals to the other slaves this afternoon." "If it's that irritating piece of meat you gave others that you want to give me, then I don't want." I shook my head vehemently. "It's not." He replied with an almost unnoticeable eye roll. "But waif, If you're a Chief Slave, aren't you supposed to be aware of the fact that I'm not meant to eat any thing at all for the next four days? Because the other woman knows and she decided not to give me anything to eat sin

My Fabulous Girl Boss

My Fabulous Girl Boss

“Mr. Cash, this is the eighth division captain of Admiralporium’s Squad 13 in Northspring, Campian Wolke.” Shaun, who was flabbergasted, quickly greeted the man. “Nice to meet you, Captain Wolke!” Campian greeted him back amiably. “Nice meeting you too, Mr. Cash. No need to be so courteous.” “Nice to meet you, Captain Wolke. I’m Bryce Jupp.” Bryce smiled politely, sounding incredibly courteous. He could not help it. Campian’s position as a captain was no weaker than a city’s leader simply in terms of his authority.

I love this book so far and I can’t stop reading it. In addition, it made me continuously unlock every chapter because the story isn’t dragging. Most of the time I skip few chapters because the story is predictable but not this book. The grammar is okay so it’s not disturbing to read.

Children Not Soldiers

I wanted to make a salute, but apparently, the chair didn't allow me to. "This is detention, Meow," said the captain. "And that chair there is your throne." "You're not going to drill my brains out, are you?" I asked and realized I had forgotten to address him. "Sir." "Just a little something to make you behave," the captain said and nodded at the guy beside me. I watched him grab a remote and press buttons. Then, I heard myself scream. --- Shut your mouth, dumbass! Shut it! Shut it! Shut it!

The Lost Alpha

His cloak fell back into place and Shaun barely saw the captain's emblem on his chest. "I am Captain Aaron, how dare you grab me?" He pulled his hand back and swung his arm back to backhand Shaun. His hand only hit the air as Shaun leaned back, avoiding it. Immediately, the sound of chairs and tables being moved was heard as people cleared space around them. Shaun and the captain started to circle each other; the captain was clearly enraged, but Shaun remained calm. When the door was behind him, Shaun stopped circling wanting to drag this encounter outside to avoid

Captain Mario greeted them as they stepped out of the caddy. "Hi, Captain Mario. Thank you for welcoming us. We can't wait to meet your crew." Charles greeted the captain back. Charles and Esther then walked up the passenger bridge and followed Captain Mario to the living room, where a line of crew members were there to greet them. "Allow me to introduce you to my team." Captain Mario began. "Roger and Laura are my 1st and 2nd officers respectively. Quincy is the officer on watch." "Imelda is my bosun. She has Payton the lead deckhand

The Rugby Captain's Knows My Secret

The Rugby Captain's Knows My Secret

"This idiot thought it was a good idea to insult Cassian in the locker room. Said some garbage about how Cassian only gets the captaincy because of his dad's name. So, we had to remind him how the hierarchy works around here. I rolled my eyes again, the sheer pettiness of their cruelty making me sick to my stomach. I opened my mouth to say something biting, to point out how fragile their egos were, but I quickly changed my mind. I couldn't afford to defend someone else when my own ship was sinking. "That's not why I'm here," I said, my voice steadying as I looked directly at Cassian. Cassian’s smile morphed into a sharp, intrigued smirk. He crossed his legs ag

Apologies, Mr Playboy. I’m Pregnant.

His gaze was normal that even Camille couldn't tell if he was joking or dead serious. She laughed nervously, then stretched out her hand to the captain. "Hi, I'm Camille Owens," she introduced. The captain claimed her outstretched hand. "Nice to meet you, Ms. Camille. I'm the captain of this beautiful ship, and you can call me Captain Fred." He responded, his gaze lingering longer than it should have. "Sorry, is there something on my face?" Camille asked, laughing awkwardly under the captain's intense stare. "Yes, Fred. How about you

FALLING FOR THE ENEMY’S SON

FALLING FOR THE ENEMY’S SON

The captain had retained his title from his college days and the identity had remained what he was addressed with by his workers and closest friends. He had earned a fortune in drug dealing and had built an empire with it. While covering his main business as the CEO of different companies, the captain was a drug dealer. He was about to get off the couch when Cathrina walked in. He stared at her from head to toe. Her eyes were red. She had no shoes on and was looking like a volcano that was about to erupt. “What's the problem Mi Amor?” he began taking steps toward her. She pointed a finger at him. “Don't you dare come close to me
