Kelvin asked curiously as he picked up his gun from the floor. “Yeah, there seem to be two of them. I chased the other one here; he must have run seeing his man down.” Carl replied, taking a deep breath. “Thanks for saving me.” Kelvin replied with a calm voice. Kelvin then bent down and opened up the face mask of the man lying dead on the floor; he opened it, staring not to recognize the face of the man. Kelvin then closed it back up. “Who the hell are these guys?” Carl asked with his eyes wide open.

Moving up his hands and coiling his fingers around her pointed finger, he makes her take it back. Folding it back in her fists, to only nod at her. "We will see Thora." Placing his lips on her knuckles , he surprises her and next she knows he is gone, just when the curtain to the tent opens. Daniel enters to look at me and I immediately lower my eyes. A bag of medicines in his hand as he disposes them beside me on the bed. "I don't know what you werewolves take, but here." "I got them arranged from a human settlement nearby."

She looked around in confusion and sure enough, she saw a man rush towards them wearing a blue shirt and black pants, the same dress she had seen him in some time ago. He looked at the she wolf and then immediately moved his hands like a ball of light shot out of it, hitting the hycwen who had dropped Dominic straight in the chest. Seeing the ball come out of nowhere scared the hycwen as it tumbled down, taking the next one with him. Gritting his teeth, Calhoun marched forward as he sent bursts of balls towards each of the hycwen that was still attacking the werewolves, sending them scurrying away.

I shook my hand like it would make the cow manure disappear. “Is he gone?” “Who’s there?” I asked, turning around just in time to see Bridie, Carl, and Shirley walking around the corner of a tent. “Oh, yeah, he is gone.” “Not surprising,” Shirley smirked as they stepped up to me. Carl had my rucksack slung over his shoulder as he puffed away on a cigarette. “Why’s that?” I questioned; I was missing something, that was for sure. “He hates the scent of shit. He thinks it’s beneath him.” Carl flicked his cigarette bud on the grass before grinding it into the ground with the heel of his boot. “There is a reason we don’t have animals...well, besides the fact most have an animal of their own.”

She repeated the same words in an impatient tone, without even looking at the mug, placed in front of her. Carl blinked at her and then his smile widened. “ You are free...” He deadpanned evily, as he picked up the mug again. Celeste's mind was frozen. What was he saying? She couldn't register anything in her mind at all. There must be something evil going on in his head. “ From me! ” Carl added, after placing the mug down and smirking at Celeste. Frowning, Celeste kept giving him a blank look, as she didn't believe even a word he said.

SUZIE'S POV Carl took off the hood from his head, and gazed at me, with a hint of joy in his eyes. I had no seen Carl in what felt like forever, and seeing that he was in good health, brought a smile to my lips. Seeing as Carl has betrayed the dark king and was working with us, I had expected the dark king to find out and kill him. I let out a sigh of relief, knowing that he was still safe. He walked forward, and shoved his hand down his pocket. Once he retrieved his hand from his pocket, a small, glass bottle was sitting in his palm. I frowned and looked up at him.

“Yeah, that’s Logan Carter.” There was a round of Oh's and ahs from the group at the window. I heard my phone buzz on the table with a notification. I closed my laptop down and grabbed my things. A lot of the office stayed at the window watching as I exited. I must admit they were correct; he looked exceptional. He was wearing dark jeans, a crisp white T-shirt and a black leather jacket. He was leaning against the bonnet of a car I didn’t recognise.

"I am sounding this way because that is what you're doing." He replied. He walked closer to me. "I am a werewolf, and you of all people should know that our breeds are really sensitive and cannot be easily fooled." He said as I stared in silence.

From the bloodstain, it must be a dead body. Carl grinned widely at me as the dead body was thrown to my feet; one almost fell on me. “Although Alpha Axel can't see his darling wife, he decided that it was wrong to let you leave empty-handed and decided to give you something memorable that can help to remind you of what's going to happen to you a few days from now.” An excited chuckle left Carl's lips as he watched the horror on my face.
