Carter used his snout to carefully stick his head inside the open window of one of the flashing vehicles and pulled out a jumpsuit identical to the one the other wolf was wearing. Carter bounded around the other side of the car and from the dark shadows I could see through the windows, Carter’s body quickly shrunk in size and disappeared out of view. As suspected, I looked up into a window, and there was Seth, looking down at me with an intense look. I wasn't sure how I knew he was there, but I just did. I looked at Carter and when I looked back at the window, Seth was gone.

A particular model of the roll Royce was different from the others, Audrey guessed he could be in that particular one, rushing towards it. Carter Colton was already in a bad mood which was a usual attitude, he never seemed to be pleased with anything, no matter how hard the effort was. I forced a chuckle and jumped out of the car, shutting the door. “Yes, it’s me. I want to get to the pack house and I am tired, is there anyone available to drive me home,” he looked at me and then his gaze went to the car, “Oh, I will leave it, the owner will come to pick it, maybe tomorrow, next tomorrow but you have nothing to worry about I didn’t steal the car” I said and Carter laughed. “Carter, what’s going on?

He answered. I pressed my hand to my forehead to fight the demons in me that wanted to set Pierce on fire, or beat him with a steel chair. “There’s gotta be a way I can still bid…” Carter said. “A bit late for that.” His car pulled up and he opened the door for me. “Get in.”
