Everywhere she went, she felt the weight of the senior maid's disapproving gaze on her, making her work extra hard to impress. As the day drew to a close, Lauren realized that this job was going to be much harder than she had anticipated. But she was determined to make it work, for the sake of her family and her pride. She took a deep breath, squared her shoulders, and decided to face whatever challenges lay ahead with a smile. Lauren's first day as a maid in the Burlington mansion was not going as planned. She had hoped to make a good impression on the family, but the spoiled children were making it difficult for her.

Stanley stared at Savy in surprise, "what nonsense are you talking about?" "I know what I am saying Stanley," she replied. "You are someone who doesn't even speak to other girls and suddenly you bring a young and beautiful girl into our home and claim she is your maid. Is it because she is younger than me? Do you consider me old or have you gotten tired of me?" Stanley stared at Savy with a helpless expression on his face and sighed, "my heart moved me to help her because she was forcefully taken to the black market and auctioned off.

The head maid asked looking at the other maids in the room for an answer. "I told her. she said she was not hungry." The girl Liz, replied looking back at the woman. "She is not hungry?" The woman said laughing and repeating the word again as if to stick the word to her brain. "Do we have a new girl?" A girl named Helen asked looking at the woman. She's the head's maid assistant and a maid to the queen, she also sometimes follow the head maid to serve the king. "Yes. A new maid to the king, can you believe that?" she said smiling. "She was brought here by Mr Travis to be a maid to the king."

I have never had an office job before, and I am quite excited about the experience. I have checked a few tips online to avoid making amateur mistakes, but sadly, I don't know the name of his company, so I am going in blind. Ma seems happy and content with the new job, and it makes me hope I will be as well. She has been gushing about the mansion and all the appliances available to ease her work and how kind everyone is. I decided to drag myself off the soft mattress and went searching for Ma to see if she needed help in any way. Isabella’s POV The warehouse was cold, damp, and smelled of rust. My thin jacket did nothing against the night air seeping through the broken windows. I sat on the floor, knees pulled up to my chest, staring at the black card between my fingers. I flipped it over and over, the words blurring. Maid. He didn’t even say housekeeper. Maid. As if I was nothing. My pride screamed at me not to even think about it, but… where else could I go? My stomach cramped in protest, reminding me I hadn’t eaten since morning.

All I needed her for, was her blood and nothing else, but I'll be lying if I said I never noticed her advances. She wasn't contented with the fact that I take sips from her blood, rather she wanted more. Humans and greed. Cassius started the car and slowly drove it to the gates of the vicinity, as the car slowly drove to the gates, my gaze fell on the maid watering the flowers with a frown on her face, as she struggled with the watering can, it fell off her hand, her frown deepened but she picked it up again, to water the flowers, because of her careless handling the water poured on her sandals.

Soon, the new maid stood beside Violet. As per Carl's requirements, the new maid was beautiful. "Introduce yourself to Mr. Walker," Reed said. "Mr. Walker, my name is Marina Bailey." Marina's voice was clear and pleasing to the ear. She looked attractive, with one of her canines poking out whenever she spoke. Carl gave her a brief glance before returning his gaze to Violet. Violet's head was lowered as she thought about how to save Whitney. When Carl looked at her, she looked back up hastily.

A maid was dusting in the foyer, and she nodded politely as they passed. A swarm of Maids followed along with a lady in front to greet Carmela. "Mrs. Martins, welcome to the Lone estate," the head maid said. "Mr. Lone has told me all about you. He's very kind to allow you to stay here. May I get you anything?" Carmela was still reeling from the opulence of the house, and she could barely manage a "no thank you" to the maid. She followed Pedro up the grand staircase, her heels clicking on the marble floor.
