The Wall A Novel Novels & Stories

The Wall is the worst thing about this whole camp. It's like an obstacle we went over the first few days, but ten times harder. That obstacle had pieces of Velcro on it to help you not slip. The Wall is completely smooth, and around five feet higher. You have to run to gain momentum and then climb like Spiderman until you get on the top of it. Elliot and Lesley have climbed it as a demonstration countless times without even running out of breath, but none of us delinquents have been able to.

And crap I think I broke my booty, no more booty calls. “Stupid wall which crackhead made a wall in the middle of the street” I mutter to myself, but ladies and gentlemen... The wall replies... “It's you clumsy women that conjure up evil plans in your head in the middle of the day and are unaware of your surroundings” that’s it. Hold my earrings, imma beat this wall... Wait since when can walls talk? I look up and see a tall, very tall, man.

It was quite a view like all the people there were desperate for a new world, working together so that the new world would startjust soo Indeed, it was a glorious except that such judgement depends only to the eye of the beholder. To Joana, it is; to Jun, it's undetermined; and, to Susan, it's absolutely not a good idea to demolish the Wall. To her, one didn't know what might happen next. What if what the late Josh de Leon had feared will be confirmed to be true? It's absolutely not a good idea and definitely not a good da

The right and left of the narrow hallway were bookshelves. She stood staring at the wall and she saw it was not flat. There was a block from the wall that jutted inside. She pushed the wall, and it opened. She couldn't blink with admiration when she saw the glass book inside the wall. The book was so beautiful and old she had never seen such a book before. She then took the book and closed the wall. “Calista, I found you.” It startled her to hear someone speak softly to her from behind her, making her turn around, and she saw Vladimir standing not far from her with his eyes fixed on hers.

David chuckled and went out of the room. Wunmi sat in her hotel room, reading one of the novels she got from a book store nearby. She took her phone and replied some messages on her chats and dropped the phone. She was still reading when she heard a noise from a part of the hotel, like a man was shouting at someone to open a door. She shrugged and faced her book. Not long, She heard a bang at the window. A little afraid, she stood up and carried a flower vase and stood beside the window. The window opened and a man jumped inside the room putting on only boxers.

Ivana cocked her head to the side. "Remember I promised to fess up everything, I think it's time, Ivana, I know it's hard to believe what I'm going to say but please be patient, I'll explain everything to you. The truth is this world is the world I created, in short, we're inside my novel," She confessed. A burst of laughter tore the silence in the room, "Nice one," Ivana laughed out aloud. "I know it's hard to believe but it's true," Arielle let out a nervous laugh.

My wolf surges forward immediately , more than willing to protect her. “Are you okay?” I ask, and she gives me a small nod. We turn around just in time to see the place where the bullet hits. One of the walls behind us. A few bricks fall apart right in front of us, scattering across the balcony floor. Dust rises into the night air. Guards begin shouting below. I am about to ignore it when Nova frowns. “There's something behind those bricks.” I narrow my eyes as well and notice papers carefully hidden inside the hollow section of the wall.

A man’s voice answered her. “They won’t.” I recognized the girl’s voice instantly. It was the heroine, Nancy. Of course it was. They were so desperate that they did it right here. Great. Exactly what I needed when crouched in a pitch-black cabinet. This was not the moment to reveal ourselves, so the two of us stayed frozen like corpses. The room was already dark, but inside the wardrobe it was pure suffocation. When you lose your sight, every other sense sharpens.

I said. “I saw the wall,” she said. “I didn’t fully understand yet how much it had cost you to build it, not until you told me everything a few nights ago. But yes. I recognized the shape of it almost immediately. I’d spent years studying exactly that shape, ever since I lost the ability to help the first person I ever watched build one.” “Does it ever feel strange to you? That your career essentially trained you to fall for exactly the kind of man Daniel might have become, if things had gone differently.”

* *The eighth is the first whose hand was not on the door. *The pearl can be refused. The pearl has never been refused by a host who did not choose it. The pearl has never met a host who did not want it.* I stand in front of the wall for a long time. Then I push off it. I push hard. I push with the whole new strength of my new body, and the section of wall I touched cracks where my palm-print burned itself into the stone. The crack runs upward, branches, opens. A piece of the wall the size of a door falls away into the silt.
