Cassandra sat at the center. She wasn't a woman anymore. She was a goddess of wire and light, her spine fused into a massive Master Terminal. Dozens of glowing, multi-limbed fiber-optic cables extended from her back like a spider’s web. In her hand, she held the Dreadfang Scepter. Its ruby eye was a bleeding sun, stabilized by the Beast frequency.
"You're late, brother," Cassandra’s voice didn't come from her mouth. It came from the walls.
