The third room is locked. I stand in front of the locked door for a long moment, hand on the handle, knowing this is important. Why lock a door in your own home unless you're hiding something? I move on before I get caught. The hallway opened into a massive living area, all windows and modern furniture and that enormous Christmas tree I saw when I first woke up. Presents are stacked underneath, wrapped in silver and white. I wonder if any of them are real or if they're just props in the set design of our supposed perfect life.

"It’s right here!" Winter had already sent someone to grab their present. It was not as showy as Charles', but it was still top-notch. "Grandpa, this is from Xavier and me. We wish you happiness and peace!" Everyone knew Winter could charm the stars out of the sky, especially with her celebrity status and her picture-perfect image of elegance and grace. When everyone saw Winter's gift, they could not help but gush, "Wow, the old man's got some amazing luck, having such a devoted granddaughter!"

Jade beamed up at him, touched by how thoughtful he'd been. "Come," he reached out a hand. "It's time to open presents." He was more excited than a child. Jade took a seat on the couch, patting the cushion next to her. "Here, Cassandra, sit down. All of you, it's Christmas. Take a load off and enjoy yourselves. It seems Ebenezer Scrooge had a visit from the ghost of Christmas Future." There were chuckles all around. "Okay, Santa, whose present is first?"

“I thought you were already overwhelmed with the idea of these two beauties?” I shrugged, continuing to gaze down at Bennett. “I was, but now that I’ve got them in my arms, I can’t imagine anything that would be better.” Kelsey nodded, scooting over on the bed so I could come and sit beside her. She rested her head on my shoulder once we were comfortable, both of us holding the boys forward so we could see them. “Thank you for the best Christmas present ever, Santa,” she grinned, lifting her chin for a kiss.

While he had admitted his knowledge about Old Saint Nick, Jaxsen had decided, just before succumbing to sleep, that he’d hold on to the magic Santa had to offer. Nizhoni and Rose, both hearing Jaxsen’s excited yelps about Santa, stepped from their rooms smiling. They found Jaxsen in the living room standing in front of the lighted tree, mouth a gape at the sight of the mountain of colorfully wrapped gifts. “Wow,” he said, drawing out the word in amazement. He grinned at Sebastian who smiled back. “You wanna pass everything out again?” Suddenly he looked self-conscious, looking between the gifts and Sebastian, and shrugged. Sebastian frowned and knelt down in front of him.

He exclaimed before sitting on the floor and we all followed suit. "I can't wait," Audrey said as she sat next to me. "This is the first time that I've done high-end Christmas shopping and I hope that you like your presents." We all got our presents and handed them out to their rightful owners. Zack helped Isaac with his since he didn't know how to read properly. Looking at the presents around me, I realised that I had received from everyone but Isaac. Before I could even ask, Isaac announced, "C-can Elaine go first?"

She's also wearing the same sweater. Of course she is, she's the one who buys those cute sweaters and forces us to wear them every Christmas morning. All of us gather in front of the Christmas tree, along with Toffer's siblings and their spouses, and their children. As expected, I got another limited edition noise-cancellation headphone. Though Julie got me a pretty necklace with snow shaped pendant, and Gerald and the rest got me awesome presents too. These are nothing, because their presence every Christmas means the world to me.

Jessie laughs more, and Eliza laughs too. Ash takes a picture, and she smiles at him. Charlie comes down, and gasps. “This is amazing!” She comes over to the lounge and sits, then jumps up again to look at the stockings. “We all got stockings?” Eliza nods, “Father Christmas found us all this year.” Charlie looks at her, then smiles, “I have a feeling he’ll find us all every year from now on too.” Jessie grins, and looks up at Charlie,

I only had seconds to take in the sight however before the absolutely massive pile of presents beside the tree caught my attention and a gasp escaped me. "Where did they all come from?" I asked shocked. "Huh?" Roman spun around to face me before looking at the gifts. "Oh, I told you, Santa has been." He chuckled. "They are gifts from the pack members." Tristan stated and I just stared in shock. "What?" "The house staff sorts them, and they come in and put them out Christmas eve night." "But... there are hundreds of presents there.” "There will be gifts for all four of us." He stated as though this was perfectly normal. Even Amber's eyes widened at those words.
