Cat Blanc Novelas e Histórias

My breath came fast and shallow, lips now dry. In the corner, next to a fallen bookcase, stood…an enormous male cat with shiny black fur. Emerald-gold eyes peered into my soul as he lifted his head to hiss at me. I blinked a few times. Yep, I've lost it. Because what I was looking at was a panther, and we didn't have panthers in Colorado. Unless I missed something, okay, remain calm. Remember your farm training. Who the hell was I kidding? This was a wild animal, for Christ's Sake.

OK, so Officer Randell wasn’t pulling my leg. “Told you so Alsie-Alsie. Big cats, and thumbs.” “It’s just Alsie, Detective Alsie. You do know there is a breed of cats with extra digits, right? They’re called polydactyl cats. Polydactyl means extra digits. It’s really, not that weird, uncommon, but not weird.” Not going to lie, a big cat, bigger than a lion being a polydactyl is weird. But I’m not about to tell Office Randell that.

I tell it before I climb out. I wait by the entrance for a minute, squinting my eyes at the brightness of the outside. I looked around, knowing that a stream was nearby. I could probably catch something and share it with my new buddy. I hoped he or she would come out; despite being a whole-ass wolf, I considered myself a cat person. Sure enough, a few seconds later, the cat comes crawling out. It's an all-black cat with a tiny white spot on its chest; it walks in front of me just as I'm wondering whether it's male or female and shows off a massive pair of balls. Well, that answers that.

The white cat jumped gently and landed on Alex’s hand this time. It meant that it wanted Alex to hug it. Alex hesitated for a moment. He held it in front of his body while gently running his hand through its fur. The white cat closed its eyes comfortably with a face of enjoyment. “This must be a female cat. A female cat demon!” said Luna depressingly. However, the white cat let out a stern cry once again, frightening Alex. Luna raised her hand. “Fine! You’re incredible and I won’t talk about you anymore, okay?”

Elena hugged the cat, turning her face away from him. "You started it. There wasn't a whole litter. Just this one." Luke leaned back against the pergola post. He took out his lighter, spun it once around his fingers, but didn't light it. "One's not enough for you? Greedy." He glanced at her. "This one's a looker. Blue bicolor. Top of the line for Ragdolls. Prettier than all your jewels." Elena lowered her head, her face half-hidden in the cat's fur, her voice muffled.

Three part-time jobs a day, sixteen-hour shifts, nonstop. Word spread among my coursemates: Scarlett had gone mad, struck by a disease that would kill her if she were without cats. I didn't care. All I wanted was to protect my two precious cats. Over time, I grew accustomed to this punishing lifestyle. Then, Luna became pregnant—and gave birth to a little snow-white bundle. I named the kitten Snowy. The true little demon had arrived. … I had never seen a cat so white. So pure that even snow seemed dull in comparison.

“Yeah, a wild one.” “She’s my pet. She doesn’t bite, I promise.” That was a fucking black panther. Or jaguar. Or Whatever. “You can’t just own murder mittens, isn’t it like illegal?” The beast rubs against Ben like a housecat. “What are you going to do, call the cops?” he says, reaching into the freezer for his lemon ice cream. No wonder the whole house smelled like expensive lemons. “She wouldn’t bite you,” Isabel whispers, trying not to laugh at my fear.

I offered the cat one of the treats and she took it right away, I handed Kitkat the second treat and helped her offer it to the baby cat, waiting to win the cat's trust, after a couple of minutes of waiting the cat showed off her whiskers first, we could tell she's orange, she had managed to run quickly that I didn't even make the colour or shape of it, but I knew she's tiny. The treat was too hard for the cat to fight for much longer, it finally came out, a fully orange tabby with black strips all over it, it looked like some kind of feline but I couldn't put my finger on it, maybe one of the animals that instincted with the radiation war? "What do you wanna name her?" I ask my baby, watchi

"Enough. He's the captain. Just let it go and head home—I'll see you after I check in." He patted her arm, but Mandy wasn't about to let go. "Why don't you come over? I made cream soup to thank you for saving Momo." Momo, her fluffy Ragdoll cat. Wade hesitated, then nodded and tried calling me. But my phone was dead. Completely out. Annoyance flickered across his face. "Fine, playing games again. If you're not going to answer, then don't ever pick up," he muttered.

Like I was just a name he needed to forget. As the pain of rejection twisted my guts, I forced the broom forward, harder this time. Sweeping away the remnants of the moment that no longer belonged to me. However, a soft meow broke through the fog of the memory. My heart raced as I turned to see a slender form weaving through the wild grass that lined the garden path. An elegant Balinese cat with a cream coat and dark chocolate points padded towards me. Her blue eyes fixed on mine with a gaze too knowing for an animal.
