Ash is pacing holding Nico, bouncing him gently as he gurgles. They pass a few hours like this, with them waking Eliza enough for her to feed the babies, then encouraging her back to sleep after.

I shifted my attention to the TV screen, realizing it was an action movie with the main character fighting to save his kidnapped love. I was engrossed in the movie until I noticed Hayden walking downstairs and leaving through the front door. I quickly got up and went outside, feeling the cold air against my cheek as I called out to him.

3RD PERSON’S POV The meeting went well, Leo was looking forward to the duel but knew he had to prepare well for it.
