Saturday classes are something that Catherine had been dreading. One quiet afternoon, Cass was busy arranging her new books inside the small hanging cabinet on the wall. Liam had built that little cabinet for her with his own two hands using leftover wood. She had begged him for weeks to make her a bookshelf and buy her some books so she wouldn't die of boredom inside the house. It had been a long time since her audition, and the modeling agency still hadn't called her back. She was starting to lose hope, and reading was the only thing keeping her sane.

“You’re right, Mom is a superwoman. I will not cry.” Cassidy thought, “I’m a superwoman. I can’t humiliate myself in front of them. In this life, with my two children, what doesn’t satisfy me?”
