Cats In The Cold Mage Tears Novels & Stories

Cade hadn’t left my side, his grip firm on my hand as if anchoring me. Then she entered, the mage. The same woman who had examined me before, her presence heavy, eyes burning with secrets she had carried too long. She studied me in silence for a long moment, her ancient gaze sweeping from the locket on my chest to the faint violet sparks still licking at my fingertips. The air thickened, as if even the walls were holding their breath. Finally, she spoke. “It has surfaced,” the mage said, voice like steel wrapped in smoke. “The blood you’ve been carrying all your life, child. The blood your wolf fought to bury.”

“We can show the world what they really are and force the focus away from us.” “That will not work,” Brea finally chips in. She uses the back of her hand to wipe the thin line of blood on her chin. She stares at the red bloodstain for a moment before wiping it off the shawl in her shoulder. “Since magic has now become weak, we can barely even fight against the cold ones as it is.” “I can’t believe the great mother gave them such a powerful weapon,” Catherine mutters sullenly. “Was she trying to give them power over us or what?”

"That I'm not at all powerful." "And what do you think that'd get you?" "Put down. Before you can have your toy." I leaned forward to hiss acidly up at him. Glad that I finally had some bit of fierceness to claim again. "You're already in his castle." Warlord chuckled. "He'd as soon give you to his men. Or to my Mage's Guild." "The Mage's Guild?" I said fearfully. "Yes. Do you know what happens to a Mage when he can exchange energy with another during Mating?"

“Okay Argon do not let Anyone get to me if you must throw them in the vortex in the spell they will be consumed by the magic“ he nodded I looked to the other mage and she gave me a wink and pushed her power into me. I started to fight the barrier trying to break it down but it was so thick it was going to take a minute for sure. I started ripping through the spell left and right but to no end it was draining . Then I thought of something Falcon had said of her magic and blood. I looked around and saw a screw and pricked my hand with it and pushed the blood out the pain from the sting of it pricking me was little to nothing but it was a weird feeling. I spelled my blood with my magic making m

His words echo. I shake my head and try to get to my feet. "They used a blocking spell on him. It will take a while for him to pull himself together. He is drunk on the magic they used," Libby says. Alpha Mayhem shakes me. "Stop, that will not help, Alpha," Mother Agnes says. "Help me to my feet, please," I ask Alpha Mayhem. I am so weak. I cannot stand it. Alpha Mayhem pulls me to my feet, but my knees buckle. Alpha Mayhem leads me over to a chair in the kitchen.

With a frown, she walked over the door and then peeked inside the room. To her surprise, a white cat with pure sapphire eyes was leaning against the edge of the bath. There was a small towel tied on her head and next to her was a small bowl filled with red wine. “Magi, Magi, Magic… oh it’s so fun to turn that imprudent man into a frog,” Carla sang in a jolly tune. “I gotta turn those men into frogs with no princess kiss to get them back~” she seemed to be so busy with her own thoughts that she didn’t even pay attention to Levy and Lily who were peeking at her.

The Vampires and Mages who had water abilities were not enough to deal with the temperature. Mira, along with most of the servants, were outside the castle to cool themselves. Kate used her ability and unknowingly spread it because she was suffering from the cold. “I do respect your tradition, but I could hear her crying from here, Ravena. She needs me. She is having a difficult time at the moment. And she is all alone inside.” The Mage’s expression hardened. “Her Highness has to endure it, your majesty.” My jaw clenched. “Let me through.”

My nostrils filled with the smell of burnt hair and fabric. I dug my knees harder into the cracked wooden floorboards, holding my ground. "No!" I shouted, gritting my teeth so tight it hurt. Under my collar, the Tear of Elyra burned like dry ice, biting deep into my chest so that my ribs were throbbed with icy agony. I fed off that cold. I opened the gates of my Nullifier channels as widely as possible, sending ribbons of pale frost down my forearms, my blistered palms, and through his temple bones.

In the next second, the cold energy in Maya’s body became even more concentrated. Cold air started vaporizing above the blood pool, releasing a sizzling sound. The temperature in the entire space was dropping rapidly. Even the blood dripping from the tubes connected to the ten thousand black cats had become frozen within. “Whew—” Maya pulled her palm away and let out a long sigh of relief.

Everything smells like mildew, blood, and… burnt fur? And he’s crouching above me. Smiling. That same wretched grin. I try to speak—but what comes out is a pathetic, confused bark. The mage laughs. Full-throated, cracked and hoarse, like he’s been choking on madness for years and is finally letting it out. “There you go, little puppy,” he hisses. “Now you can be useful.” I growl and try to lunge at him, but he flicks two fingers and my limbs go numb. A sick green glow seeps into my paws. I collapse with a whimper, powerless.
