Cats In The Cold Mage Tears Novels & Stories

she whispered, and with a surge of strength, she threw him off, her hand reaching for the Tear. I scrambled to my feet, my vision swimming, and lunged for the crystal. My fingers closed around it, its warmth flooding through me, and for a moment, everything stilled. The Tear’s power hummed in my veins, ancient and alive, whispering of strength, of bonds, of love. Lydia screamed, her magic lashing out, but I held on, the Tear’s light flaring brighter. “Kael!” I shouted, tossing it to him. He caught it, his eyes blazing with determination. “Sylvara, now!”

Nyx growled, his throat felt suffocated, barely able to breathe in air. I blinked back my senses, wanting to be away from this bunch of liars and deciders. I am out, feeling my body beginning to get oddly different. I bit my lower lip, rushing out, but before I could reach the door, I felt Sage's grip. "Lyra, please." He stops. I try to wiggle my grip off of him, but who am I kidding? He was way stronger than I am. I lay on Sage's chest, my tears soaking into his fur as I cried out all my fears and worries. His warm embrace and gentle whispers had calmed me down, but the pain still lingered.

I just looked back emotionlessly. A smirk formed on my lips. I had just arrived here, but I witnessed a small catfight. “Who are they?” I asked as we resumed walking. Yana was still looking at the girl, so I tapped her shoulder. “Oh, pardon?” “May I know who they are? The ginger head and blonde chicks?” I asked again. She nodded, “It’s Cassie Hearthstone and Rachelle Wu.” She answered. Cassie Hearthstone. Sounds familiar. “Who is this, Cassie and Rachelle? I mean, what is their role in this kingdom?”

“And he’s coming for you.” Cath threw her head back and laughed, the sound echoing the one they’d heard earlier. “Is he? He’s a broken dog, bleeding out in the woods. You’re all that’s left. And Kael wants your heart, but…” She took a step closer, her eyes gleaming with a personal, possessive hunger. “I think I’ll take your eyes first. A souvenir.” The wolves stopped pacing, focusing on Tess. Now. It has to be now. Tess closed her eyes. She blocked out Cath, the rain, the wolves. She reached down inside herself, not for power, but for memory. For feeling.

"The Tear doesn't reshape reality according to anyone's agenda. It restores what was broken." Through their bond, she felt her mates' presence intensify, Rick's steady strength and Nathaniel's focused determination flowing into her, reinforcing her own failing strength as another wave of heat threatened to overwhelm her. The chamber door burst open before her fingers could touch the pendant. A figure dressed entirely in black tactical gear launched through the entrance, moving with inhuman speed. The Magpie, it could be no one else, threw something that expanded mid-air into a glittering net of silver threads.

His words shattered my heart, but whatever happen, I won't give up of taming him. “It's okay because I will still make you a cake.” I muttered towards him while tears still streaming down from my face because of the pain.

“Is it alive?” “Yes, my Lord.” the disciple answered with his trembling voice. “Okay, bring it now!” the lord shouted that makes everyone around moves their feet with their shaking bones. Even though they look scary and heartless when they killed their former blood relative, they also hide their fear but just for their Lord. A CanFe leaves and when he came back, he brought the water bender that the other CanFe have told earlier. Wearing a coat that is made off from the fur of a black bear, he is walking with fierce with his young face.

But afterward, he started giving them negative response once again. "I cannot give what I do not have. You said it yourself, your group are looking for the location of the Petrifying Monster; which I do not have.---" [Then these lot would only be wasted on you, old dork.] The blacksmith was not yet done talking when he was caught off guard by a pair of black paws reaching out to the pile of mage coins in his table. He was taken aback for a second by the cat's unusual behavior but knowing he was dealing with students of Iridos, he quickly recovered from his shock and before Nero could even completely take the pouch away, he grabbed it back.

“I rejected her–we’re not mates–” “You are. Always.” Her expression shatters, tears filling her eyes. A rush of air roars over us, tiny thrums of light blue magic following in its wake. She looks to the sky, a tear falling free down her cheek. Other’s notice, yelping and shouting in surprise as the magic soaks into the ground, waking more of the fallen warriors on both sides of the battle. I look down at my mate. “Stop, Misty, you have to stop–”

They are talking about me. I look down at my hand, imagining my flesh rotting, peeling away to reveal stark white bone. I shake my head, expelling the intrusive thought. "I would suggest not using words like that around her. Not right now," Roel mutters. The wall is cold against my back as I lean closer to the archway. I'm desperately trying to fight off the itching in my nose from the flowers that seem to be spawning everywhere around me. "It has to be magic," Crimson hisses.
