Ansel massaged his wrist which was wearing claw gloves made of the sharpest fangs of Leviathan, the seven-headed demon serpent lord of the seas that could even swallow a Kraken with its huge mouth. Andrew struck the tip of his spear into the ground, a spear made of the ribs of Cerberus, the two-headed dog who was the guardian of hell's gates. And Ares, the one who was hiding the purplish aura on his body, now released it. His two black wings spread wide. His entire body hardened, and his eyes emitted an extremely powerful killing aura.

I didn't want her to go crazy if the sirens started singing again. To my surprise, the sirens went backwards. They were still on fours. I looked at Zeus who was staring at me with the same look on his face as mine. "I, Dabria Cerberus, the Mistress of the Cerberus territory, heiress to the Cerberus throne, command you to bring me the extra rstion you have saved in your dane." I ordered the sirens, turning my head towards them. It was more of a gamble and I was not sure at all if it was going to work.

But my eyes widened when I heard the loud growls of the monsters clashing. I looked into the distance and saw the giant snake wrestle...and the three-headed wolf—the Cerberus. I swallowed because they were both so big. Cerberus is silver in color and has long fur. It bit the giant snake's neck and I heard how the snake roared and quickly wrapped its body around Cerberus. Cerberus fell and that created a slight tremor. I want to run away to get away from them. While the two were busy fighting, it was difficult for me to move because they were both blocking the only way back to the place Erigor had made.

“Former MI6. CIA contractors. Even a few ex-Thorne Capital analysts. He wasn’t lying. They’ve built a new network — a merger of criminals who used to run the world.” Lucian leaned over her shoulder. The light caught the edge of his eyes — cold fire. “Cerberus,” he muttered. “Three heads — intelligence, finance, and tech. I should’ve known they’d crawl out of The Architects’ grave.” Eva smirked faintly. “You created half the digital infrastructure they’re using to hide. So, yes, technically, this is your fault.” He gave her a look. “And technically, that means I know exactly where to hit them.”

Something they didn't explain to Abi was that, the catacomb was filled with deadly beasts which used the form of the littered bones to attack and that alone made them immortal. First, the beast were mindless and in a soul form. They only possess vessels knowing as they wouldn't do any harm unless they use a vessel. And the vessel was of the littered bones. So anyone who enters never comes out.

“If what she heard is right, someone in your circle—someone in this very compound—is about to sell you out.” Leon muttered, “That narrows it to about five people. All of whom are supposed to be dead loyal.” Maris interrupted, voice small but strong. “They weren’t wearing the same uniforms. One of them had a patch on his neck. Looked like a… snake?” Cassian’s eyes darkened. “That’s not one of ours,” he said. “That’s Cerberus.” Anais frowned. “What’s Cerberus?” “A rogue contractor network. Mercs with government ties. Off-the-books. If Harlan’s using them… we’ve got more than a leak. We’ve got a siege coming.”
