His Outcast Mate (Book 4: The 'His' Series

His Outcast Mate (Book 4: The 'His' Series

Because of that, I don’t care that he died. He raised two horrible human beings. Chad was an arrogant jerk who treated women like garbage. He has never respected women, and one day, he is going to cross paths with the wrong woman, and she will make him pay in kind for the abuses other women, including myself, have suffered. I’d do the job myself, but he is a waste of my time. My focus is on Candy. Conrad indulged her so much as a kid that she became the biggest monster in that household.

Love the story. I was so gutted for Adrian and Amber. Not sure why, but their story really got to me and made me sad. I wish both could have had their own happy ending or figured it out. But I’m happy that Adrian moved on with Sinclair and they are happy. Looking forward to the ending.

Awakening the Billionaire's Lust

Awakening the Billionaire's Lust

On the other side, Chad has a warrant out for his arrest for shooting someone, and he is being pursued everywhere he goes. At the moment, he resembles a rodent that lives in a sewer. He stays hidden in the basement for several days, terrified to venture outside, until his beard begins to regrow, at which point he creeps out of the dark and musty place after realizing that he doesn't look anything like the man in the wanted picture. He hid himself in a modest house and listened to the most recent news on a radio transmission that he had discovered in some obscure location. He was so hungry that his fingers were shaking as he nibbled on some dry bread that he held in his palm.

His Rejected Warrior Luna

he stated, and I nodded. “Let's go,” I asserted and headed out of my house. Glancing up at the gray mountain I gritted my molars as Josephine as I broke through the treeline and headed further north. “Tell me about this Chad Smith. I want to be inside of his head so I will know how to defeat him,” I growled over my shoulder to her. Chuckling, she shook her head and said, “Alone, he's just a tiny rat, but with his deep pockets he can afford the best of the best.”

SECRETS

SECRETS

Great, I said to myself this isn’t going to go well. ~KAHLAN~ I watched as Chad packed all glass items and valuables in a small box. I made my way over to him slowly. “Hey,” I started. He looked at me and gave a smile. “Can you jut see their faces when they see how beautiful this place is?” Chad glanced around the room and nodded. His hair looked wild as if he hadn’t brushed it. His brown eyes drooped as if he didn’t sleep well. He dressed in basketball shorts and a T. I guessed that he still made the time to work out.

Married a Secret Billionaire

Married a Secret Billionaire

Trinity slammed the table and barked, “I even openly complimented his skill! I must be blind!” Chad felt that everybody was giving it a shove when a wall was about to collapse. He was the debris beneath the wall. He was going to be flattened, but the people around did not stop. They must crush him into pieces! Chad regretted it. He did not regret his terrible decision to steal others’ work and show it with fanfare. What he regretted was… that he should never have tried to offend Cordelia! He could not imagine that she was Zephyr’s wife!

I've only read two books on this app. This is the second and by far the best one. The storylines are fluid, the characters are endowed with personality and most importantly the writer makes them come together seamlessly. Ideally, this is what the experience should be, uncomplicated and enjoyable.

I like the story. However, the cost is high for books on here and they are never ending. Not that the chapters are long, but it is almost the same outlying as the other books from this author. Sometimes it takes a moment to see what characters they have actively engaged in that chapter.

When Best Friends Kiss

When Best Friends Kiss

Todd asked, shoving his hands into his pockets. Chad shrugged. He looked tired. Dark circles hung under his eyes, and his usual confident posture was gone. He seemed smaller somehow. "I've been better." Chad admitted. "I can't stop thinking about that night. About the gun. About pulling the trigger." I felt my heart clench for him. "That must be really hard." Chad nodded. "My parents got me a therapist. I've been talking to her. But it's still... a lot." Todd put a hand on Chad's shoulder. "You did the right thing. You saved us. You saved Rory."

The Ace at the Apex

The Ace at the Apex

Chad quickly got up from his chair and desk before Javier yanked him into his office. Javier had not seen Chad for a few days, but the latter looked like it had been a few years. He looked like he had been weathered by the elements. The man had traded his clean-shaven upstart look for the look of a tired office worker with stubble coiling around his chin. Javier snickered as he studied Chad. “Well, well. What kind of problem could possibly make you look like sh*t, Mr. McCool?” Chad sounded helpless. “F*cking thugs.”

His Ungodly Touch

His Ungodly Touch

He’s wearing no shirt, and the structure of his chest and stomach shows that he has been working out lately. He has blue shorts on and is barefooted. “Can you try to get in contact with Russell?” I ask him and he laughs. After I give him a deadpan look, he sighs. “You don’t just contact people like Russell.” Chad explains to me as he retrieves his laptop from his backpack. “I don’t care...find a way, I know you can.” I say, giving him an encouraging smile. He sighs loudly as he opens his laptop. He then begins to click on the keys in a fast motion, and in no time, I hear a steady beep as if he’s making a call.

I asked, pointing to the eyesore that was looming over the beach with its super modern looks. Chad didn’t even look. “Yeah. You’ll find him in the study. On the computer. Trying to figure out where to go next.” He drank from the drink, and I could see he was close to passing out. “Don’t know why he’s obsessed with money. Spends all his time working instead of having fun,” he said, putting the drink down. Earl picked it up, a look of disgust on his face.

Festive Deception: A Jasmine For Christmas

Festive Deception: A Jasmine For Christmas

Chad didn’t turn when Peter entered, but Peter knew he was aware of his presence. The study had a mini drinking bar sitting in the corner, and Chad was there, nursing a glass of whiskey. Peter stopped a few steps behind him, waiting. Chad took another sip before finally speaking. “The girl?” Already knowing who Chad was referring to, Peter answered. “Safely home with her mother.” Chad didn't give a reaction and continued his mini rehab. Peter lingered for another moment. Chad spoke again. “Anything else?” He nodded, though Chad couldn't see him. “About her father—,”
