“M-Mr. Zephyr!” He wiped his hands on himself and extended both of them. “I’ve heard about Mr. Zephyr Hamerton from Centrolis back in Jangasas and have looked forward to meeting you! As Chad’s hands hovered in the air for some time, he pulled them back with a fake smile.

Of course, the Darton Group, the company that Doug was working for, was also a business under the Kersey name. Moreover, Doug was actually Chad’s disciple. At the time, Doug was Chad’s secretary. When he found Doug to be a smart and hardworking person, Chad accepted him as his pupil and took him under his wing. After a period of nurturing, Doug was now out in the world to gain “first-hand experience.” Earlier, Javier had called Chad and expressed his intention to put on a huge show. Coincidentally, the Darton Group was on friendly business terms with the Dunham Group at the time, so Chad arranged for Doug to help Javier out.

Rowan’s point of view: Alpha Dalton strode easily down the underground tunnel alongside the dungeons cells. Stopping by the cell in which Finn was being held captive, he gestured at me to unlock the door. I bowed in respect and quickly unlocked the door for him. Holding it open, I waited for him to enter the cell. It wasn’t the first time I’ve seen Alpha Dalton this serious. I was used to working with him in every kind of situations and this one was close to a similar occurrence that had happened before.

I nod agreeing with him before guiding Bonnie over to where my brothers are standing just in time for Shane's return. “Please tell me you didn't start without me?” He asks as he wipes sweat from his forehead. Chad was the last one to enter; he went and grabbed a six pack of grape sodas out of the fridge, along with a bag of Doritos. "So, what's going on with you and Brooke Sandino?" Justin interrogated, as everyone took a seat. "What do you mean?" Dino asked, opening his soda, his eyes on the purple can. Chad playfully hit Dino in his slim arm, almost causing him to drop the entire can. Dino faced his best friend. Chad was the only one who knew for sure that Sandino and Brooke Meir were practically dating, but he never said anything. Just by looking at him though, you could tell he was ready to jump at the opportunity to spill the secret.

“Well... it’s a good thing you came here a little later, otherwise, girl, you might’ve run into your ex. He was here earlier. Chad hired him as the engineer for our cafe.” What?! Xander was here earlier? *****

He takes a breath, composing himself, then turns around. “Duncan, I need to speak with James.” The man in the doorway is shorter than Ethan, and has blond hair scraped into a bun. He’s wearing a blue tartan kilt—so he’s not one of Ethan’s clan. He grins, then gestures behind him. “Come inside,” he says. Ethan pauses for a beat before he sighs. He heads back toward the door, his hand still clasped around mine.

'There was a sudden deem lights, Phelan remembers someone, who was Don Carlton telling her to go lay down and rest. She tried to refuse, but he was too strong, and she was unable to stop him.
