Call me out if you need anything…” Nathan kept his arm wrapped around me as we entered the club, walking through the VVIP’s door, entering the lounge which was filled with men who wore suits. Carter stood beside one of them, glaring at the surrounding before his stance loosened up when he caught sight of us. He raised an eyebrow when he saw me, winking, making his Alpha shake his head as he extended a hand to shake.

Chad is a very mysterious person, and it is said that since he became Alpha, he is like a shadow, has never appeared in public, and no one knows his strength or appearance. Many rumors are floating around him. Someone said it was a weak old wolf that only dared to hide in the house for fear of being killed outside. So shut up!" Daniel yelled towards us. Aaron didn't take that lightly because he tried to get up but I pulled him down.

"Yes. I already told you about her. That Tristan, Alicia, Cyrene and I have been friends since we were kids and that she is my sister." Suddenly, a blurry image attacked my head making me feel dizzy. Two people are talking and I could barely hear them talk. It was us. Cyrus and I. We indeed talked about his relationship with the rest. And she was here last night, Tristan and that guy. "Are you alright?" He asked, concerned. I nodded my head yes. "By the way, who was that guy Tristan and Cyrene were with last night?" He turned to look at me and smiled. "His name is Andy, the guy I told you about at the company. He just didn't make it that day since I asked him to do something for me."

Beside him stood Standfast, a bit shorter but no less imposing, with a sneer playing on his lips. Standfast, around nineteen, had a more rugged demeanor compared to Phillip. His face, while not conventionally handsome, bore the marks of someone who had seen their fair share of trouble. He had a solid build, indicating a readiness for action rather than words. His eyes held a steely intensity, hinting at a volatile temperament kept in check only by Phillip's presence.

"Uh, oh… sorry about that. I didn't realize that you had a mate. And it’s Nix, that’s unbelievable. Sorry and congratulations to both of you." I accepted his apology. "No worries. No harm done." The girl shook her head at his denseness. "I'm Chloe, and this is Greg and Soren." Greg shook my hand. "If you didn't pick it up, Chloe is my mate." I said, "Yes, I noticed." I tilted my head as I examined Soren. "And your mate is Cassie from the library, right? I met her earlier today, she seems nice." Soren shook his head. "No, I haven't met my mate yet."

He says eventually, noises behind him reveal the blonde girl that Flame was arguing with earlier. “Oh please be Darius’ friend.” She grins, pushing the boy out of the way and extending her hand. “I’m Gale. Gale Winters.” “Cain Harden.” I shake her hand quickly before dropping it and turning to the boy again, attempting to be pleasant when I just want him to get the fuck out of my way. “Darius told me we were going Tree Surfing.”
