I tilted my head, considering the options as I let my fingers trail over the cold metal of the chainsaw in my hand. For a brief second, I saw the hesitation in his eyes—the flicker of fear—but then he steeled himself, his expression hardening into defiance. “You can all go to hell,” he spat. “I’m not telling you anything.” I exhaled slowly, feigning disappointment. “Very well then. Suit yourself.” With an indifferent shrug, I gripped the chainsaw’s handle and yanked the cord. The engine roared to life, its sharp teeth glinting as I took a step toward him. The scent of burning fuel filled the air.

I leapt, knocking the attacker off him, my jaws snapping inches from the man's face. "Thanks," Chase panted, regaining his footing. "Don't mention it," I replied through our mind link. Meanwhile, the cavern had erupted into pandemonium once more. Chase moved like a whirlwind, his movements precise and deadly. He weaved through the fray, taking down enemies with calculated efficiency. Despite being in human form, he was a force to be reckoned with, his blades flashing under the flickering torchlight. "Keep pushing forward!" he yelled, his voice cutting through the clamour.

Suddenly, his hands grasped my throat. Choking, gagging for air clutched at his hands with my own. The sting of power that lived within him struck me like an electric shock. “I think in the future you should think about your words more carefully before letting them spill out of that pretty little mouth. I’d so hate to see those lips ripped from your skull, Chief Darksyde.” He snickered before throwing me to the ground.

"You’re going to let these cowards kill the only thing that can save us?" "He is a Chimera," one of the pack leaders snarled, his wolf form pacing nervously. "He smells like death, Richard! He smells like the end of the forest! We won't die for a monster!" Richard didn't answer. He walked toward the gate, his boots crunching loudly on the frozen earth. He reached the threshold, stopped, and slowly crouched. He extended his right hand, his fingers elongating into razor-sharp, obsidian-black claws. With a slow, deliberate motion, he dragged his nails across the dirt, carving a deep, jagged trench that circled the entire cabin.

He licked his lips, his black tongue standing out in the harshness of the white snow. "Yeah, buddy, it's me." I approached slowly, my claws sliding into place. The smell of burned nuts surrounded me when the little fucker attacked. He grabbed one of the logs that hadn't been cut yet with his bare hand and threw it at me. I dodged out of the way, the wood smashing into the ground and smashing on impact. But I didn't hesitate, I slipped around the hurled debris and snatched him up by his throat. "Javier," he growled, his eyes completely black with tints of red.

I stood next to my car, lighting a cigarette. Suddenly, I heard angry footsteps coming towards me I smiled a bit because I knew I won the argument. My cigarette was taken from me and thrown on the ground. I raised my head slowly, facing her furious eyes. She was so small compared to me; If she was my enemy, I would have crushed her like an ant. But there she was, so tiny and beautiful that it took my breath every time she stared at me, even with anger. I grabbed her throat lightly, pushing her towards the car.

Turner kicked Jackson off and turned to face him, but Brodie was already on his back, digging his claws into his fur. Turner howled and shook Brodie off, then charged at him with full force. Brodie braced himself for the impact, but Jackson tackled Turner from the side, knocking him off balance. The two werewolves rolled on the ground, biting and scratching each other. Brodie joined the fray, aiming for Turner’s throat. Turner fought back with ferocity, wounding both of them with his sharp teeth and nails. He managed to free himself from their grip and ran towards the door, hoping to escape. Brodie and Jackson chased after him, determined to finish him off.

"Let's go!" I ran into the cave, followed by Xander, but one minute he was in his human form and the next, he leapt forward and his paws hit the cave floor. Several of The Outsiders charged toward us, and I cut off their heads with the sword and ripped out their hearts instantly, causing their bodies to burst into flames upon the ground. With a wave of my arm, I threw several more against the wall and then ripped off their heads as the suddenly burst into flames. As we fought our way inside, the burning bodies of The Outsiders illuminated the cave, revealing three other caves.

a furious voice called out. Wilson spun around on the balls of his feet. His eyes picked up a small object hurling at him as fast as lightning. The tomahawk buried itself into Wilson’s chest. He gasped loud and painfully, his jaw dropping wide open. The sudden force caused him to topple backward and onto the ground. Alex stood up and gazed at him in astonishment. Wilson grabbed hold of the tomahawk’s handle and struggled uselessly for air. He was dead before his eyes could even shut.

Their voices and attitudes didn't match, either. However, she still felt something weird she couldn't name. "W-Who is he?" the girl asked with a trembling voice. Chase did the honor to introduce the guy. "This guy's family is currently at the first seat. Though he's only in the top two, he's still this school's student council president. Unlike his brother who rarely shows up, he is full of life. His name is Ciar Stoneheart, but we tend to call him First," Chase said with a playful wide smile as he introduced him to her.
