“They’re not just building one company,” Cassius said, pointing at the board where several new names had been added. “They’re building a chain.”
Marco stepped closer. “Chain of what?”
“Front companies,” Cassius replied. “Logistics, trading, import-export, even small tech firms. Each one handles a different part of the operation.”
Stefano studied the board carefully. “Decentralized system,” he said quietly. “Harder to destroy.”
Cassius nodded. “Exactly. If one company is exposed, the others continue operating.”
