Lizette’s P.O.V. “A mistake?” My heart forgot to beat for a moment as my mate chewed his words hatefully, sending shivers down my spine. Alpha spoke out of the blue, “I, Brandon Cameron, Alpha of the Silver Claw Pack, reject you, Gamma Lizette Bancroft, as my mate and the future Luna of the pack.” A volcano of hatred rumbled as its molten lava burned my soul, throbbing my heart with the pain of a thousand arrows piercing it. I shifted back a little, trying to piece together what was going on. "You slapped the Lycan king?" Alpha Jackson asked. He looked somewhat disappointed in me. "Why don't you ask him what he did?" I fired, facing the man. I didn't know he was the Lycan king but that didn't make what he did right. "What did I do?" He asked daringly. I looked unbelievably at him as he tried to deny my claims.
