Francis’s eyebrows creased as he busied himself working with his laptop. After the night of terror, he had been working non-stop to submit reports and worse, CHAOS I was activated. It was a legendary device that caused a great deal of controversy six years ago. Its logarithm was challenging to understand as it was one of the inventions of the great Alexandrei, and these inventions couldn’t be solved in one snap. Usually, it would take an absolute genius and someone hard working to crack his logarithm.

Chapter 35: The First Colony of Friction Year Four: The Diaspora of the Dissonant The fourth year of the Paradox was defined by a single, terrifying, and exhilarating word: Expansion. The "Permitted Era" had provided the technology, and the "Fourteenth Frequency" had provided the psychological stability, but it was the restless human spirit that demanded the cradle be left behind. The fragments of Harper surged forward, and the whispering returned — louder, more commanding, uncontrollable. “You thought you could survive without me?” Harper purred from inside Lila. “Think again. I am eternal. I am chaos. And now… the real game begins.”

I walked in on my dad and many uncles and aunts arguing heatedly and I didn’t need anyone telling me it was about Chaos. Half of them want the pack and all its inhabitants eradicated irrespective of their gender or age as a sign of retribution whiles the other half want to stick to the plan made originally by Chaos before she died. Even though that plan now has loopholes as certain revelations came to light on the day of her death but it is been kept under wraps until further notice. Stepping into their midst, I cleared my throat to get their attention. When I had secured it, I dug straight into relaying the information I had just gathered.
