However, they began to feud violently when Lake brought home a beautiful woman from Watergate Bay beach in Newquay. Alan becomes frightened, when Alferd Atkinston threatnes him that the man will kill the mermaid. Therefore, Alan trying to save the mermaid. But a misunderstanding occurs, Lake thinks that Alan will take his wife. Because of that, the tragedy of killing each other between the brothers occured. Tepatnya pada tahun 2019, semuanya bertemu seolah-olah menandakan bahwa kisah lama akan kembali terukir. Lake Atkinston dan Alan Atkinston adalah kakak beradik, dahulu hubungan mereka baik-baik saja hingga akhirnya berubah menjadi hancur. Faktor utama yang mendorong hal tersebut adalah Alferd Atkinston -ayah mereka- dan faktor kedua adalah Larissa. Kedua pria tampan itu sama-sama mencintai Larissa, seekor mermaid dari Newquay. Akan tetapi, Alferd mengancam Alan bahwa dia akan melakukan hal yang sama seperti ketika dirinya menemukan kedua orang tua Larissa yang juga merupakan makhluk laut. Awalnya, niat Alan hanya ingin menyelamatkan nyawa wanita yang ia cintai. Namun nasib buruk menimpa mereka, ketika Lake murka karena merasa bahwa Alan akan merebut Larissa dari dirinya.
