He has helped me get past certain obstacles and lessened my punishments. Even though I’m pleased that it’s him here sitting across from me, I can’t help but to be saddened as well. He simply stepped back, his expression unreadable, and opened the top drawer of his desk. He pulled out a thick, manila folder and walked toward the center of the room. He placed it on the low coffee table situated between the sofas where Ezra and I stood. Ezra looked at the folder skeptically, his green eyes narrowed. He was the first to move, grabbing the edge and pulling it open. He began flipping through the pages. I couldn't bring myself to look down. I kept my gaze locked on Eugene, searching for the lie.

Series of gasps flew through the hall, whilst Eugene was now trying to find where the sound was coming from all to no avail. “What’s happening? Turn whatever this is off.” Mr Cree yelled from his seat. “There’s nothing too difficult do Eugene Creed to do, I need to prove to my father how much of a better son I am than that weakling Zane and what’s the perfect way to do it than get married to the southern minister’s daughter, after the marriage, I will be able to get the I-land contract I have been after for years now with absolute ease and not just that, it will be easier to discredit Zane.” Eugene replied.
