Eugene looked away, unable to meet my gaze as his face flushed. “I’m just afraid to be neglected. What if this ends up into multiple lies? “Rue, let’s go.” Rue obeyed him very well, completely admiring him like he was an amazing older brother and followed him obediently to play with action figures.
