Eugene would despise that kind of arrogance. Eugene’s gaze locked onto her, cold and razor-sharp. "And what are you, exactly?" Her bravado crumbled in an instant. "I…I just…That's not what I meant," she stammered, her voice suddenly small. "I was just passing along your instructions. Eugene, these people…how dare they ignore your orders? You really should have someone look into their backgrounds. Maybe they're spies sent by your family's enemies!" A faint, mocking smile touched Eugene’s lips. "Whether they're spies or not isn't your business. The one who needs to be thrown out is you."

I said shaking my head. "Hey, I can't let a male be the end of me." He replied chuckling. I didn't laugh along and only shook my head at him. Eugene was, I can't call him a playboy. Eugene is isn't one that was ready for a relationship. Or a long term thing. He had flings, a lot of them, just I used to have. Flings that were there to help him release. But he always had the need to find a personal one. Someone he could play with. A toy.

“Actually, I have a worry.” “Really?!” Marcus gasped. All looked at him and so, Eugene placed his index finger on the seam of his lips to hush him. “Shsssh. Lower you voice.” “Okay, okay. I will. What is it?” Eugene bit his lower lip. Back in his old school, all students know about Eugene’s family; that he was born out of wedlock and without his father. But in his new school, no one among them knows about this.

Casper is feeling uneasy, he doesn't want Cathy to get married but, he doesn't know why, he just wants the wedding to stop. "I hope, Jane's men arrive on time to burn the place.' Eugene laughed hard, he wanted to hold her waist, and Gregory was right behind them.

Eugene moved up from his bed and walked around the mansion. It is 2 am. But somehow, he thought of visiting Chandler’s room. When Eugene got there, he saw nothing.

Then, we went to have lunch, as we were eating, Christian asked, "Did you talk to Eugene?" "Nah, Leave him for a while." I replied casually. "Aren't you worried about his whereabouts?" "He is at our old home and currently looking for a job, let's see how long he can go." I said with a smug look. I want to see how far he can take care of himself. "You know he just looks like you but his mind is far too good in intelligence." Christian said as I gave him a nod. “I know Eugene has always been a genius, he even completed his graduation before me. Don’t compare us.” I frowned.

CHAPTER 100 ~3RD PERSON'S POV~ Gregory suddenly burst through a wall in the mansion, spreading stone and dust in the air. He hit his back on the next wall and fell to the ground, groaning in pain. “I must admit, somehow, you got a lot better than the first time we met, but it doesn't change the fact that I'm still stronger and I'm going to beat you,” Eugene said as he stepped through the large hole in the wall. He stopped before Gregory and continued, “Unlike the last time, my orders are to kill anyone who is likely to pose a threat to the alpha, so I will not be holding back."

But underneath it, there was quiet restraint—a dam holding back a tide. “You’re thinking about what I did… back at the Vargus Pack.” “I—” Her mouth moved, but the words caught in her throat. She wanted to protect him again, to deny what they both knew, but his eyes warned her not to. “You don’t have to lie,” Eugene said, pushing himself up slowly. He winced slightly as he sat, muscles protesting, then stared out the window at the ghostly dawn. “I remember every scream. Every crushed bone. Every howl that silenced mid-air.”

“Ma'am, I think you should slow down,” Eugene said, putting on his seat belt quickly. Avery didn't listen to him. Who is he to tell her to slow down? Instead of slowing down, she stepped on the clutch and drove faster than they were driving. Eugene immediately made a sign of the cross because he doesn't want to die any moment now, he hasn't yet told the world that he's gay, he hasn't found his love yet. “Ma'am please. Just calm down, the police will stop us now” Eugene complained trying to make her stop.

I still had no idea where the hell I was or what this place was. "Ahh, just in time," "Eugene, what treats do you have for us today?" Eugene opened the gate with two buckets in one hand. A chair with straps attached to the arms and legs in the other. He set down the chair and buckets and then walked towards me. His eyes were emotionless as he approached me. I tried to move away, but all the effort was pointless. So I steeled my expression and stared him down as he gripped my arm and yanked me upwards.
