Eugene asks, opening the car door for us. "To Yaya Fei and Yaya Gwen, please call him Rambo from now on, okay?" When I heard Eugene let out a deep sigh, I looked at him. He took my bag and slung it over his shoulder while holding my hand. "All right, I'll call him Rambo," Eugene replied. We were about to enter the unit when Loki handed Rambo to Eugene. I laugh when the kids start running to the house while Eugene is holding the puppy. "What the hella fvck!" Eugene exclaimed at the top of his lungs after the puppy peed on his shirt.

He had the key to it, so he entered immediately. Eugene approached us. The annoyance was obvious in his appearance when he saw Wright. "Eugene Fuertes." He offered a handshake to Wright. Wright gladly accepted his hand. I could feel the tension between them. "Wright Agoncillo. The real father of Reid." "I know. I know a lot, Agoncillo. More than you know." Eugene said with pride. When they let go Wright put his hand inside his pants pocket. He nodded. "That’s good. You know your place.”

If I had done the same, he would have cursed me until the day I died. Eugene looked back at me. For a moment his eyes saddened when he noticed I still stood beside him. My hand clutched the back of his chair. A white-knuckled grip that turned painful. More anger throbbed through me when I saw the look he gave me. But it was there one moment and gone the next. He needed me still. He knew it as well. So, for now, we would play the happily reunited couple. Until I could safely get my people away from him. I would endure. Gregory yelled, and he walked passed Zoe, Jane was mad, and she didn't care to talk to Zoe, so she went outside, Roe was outside making calls when his eyes fell on Zoe who was smoking badly. "Whoa! She smokes, I don't know if Craig likes Crazy women." He was talking to himself, and the next thing, he jumped down. "Who are you?" Zoe asked like some frightening cat. "I am Roe Rod and you are?" "I don't make friends with my enemy, if you are not a friend to my love then you are not my friend."

“Kill him.” The three rogues leapt simultaneously with snarls tearing through the night. Eugene sprang forward, faster than Kaelyn could track. He smashed his fist into the first rogue’s jaw, sending him spinning into a tree with a sickening crack. The second rogue lunged low; Eugene pivoted, slamming his elbow down onto the back of its neck, and the wolf dropped with a pained yelp. The third rogue was craftier, darting around Eugene’s defenses. Kaelyn’s eyes widened as the rogue sank its teeth into Eugene’s side, blood darkening his shirt.

Millicent came out of the cafe and joined us in the car. We spent the rest of the day arranging my new clothes in my closet. " Clover can I ask a question? please don't get mad" Doe said " sure ask away" I replied " umm what have you been doing all these years as a rogue?" She asked. " Uh nothing really just normal rogue stuff like running from rogue packs, stealing from rogue packs and normal packs, hunting wildlife, avoiding humans and travelling from one place to another" I shrugged.

I show my teeth, surrounded by ravenous rogues. Just when I watch them lean back, preparing to launch forward, they are distracted. I watch the pack warriors from the clearing above bolt down the hillside, their sights set on the rogues. I take in an easy breath as the rogues are chased off but the warriors continue to pursue them, running so far out of sight that I feel comfortable enough to shift back. Eugene already has, His back shoulder blade sporting a horrible, vicious wound. He flinches slightly, his arm bruising already and with black and purple streaks and crimson blood leaking down his awkward, crooked wrist.
