We pray that I have a safe shift and that nothing goes wrong. That's when I felt the first pain of shifting. I could feel my bones breaking as I shifted around to shift into my wolf. I started screaming. Charlotte then spoke. " Let me take over, don't fight it."

In the end, they moved into Bianca's parents' rented two-bedroom. Seven people squeezed inside with barely room for luggage. Bianca and Lila started fighting almost immediately. Lila called Bianca useless; Bianca called Lila a freeloader. When Helen's migraines flared, Bianca's mother told her to wait at a public clinic. Without my doctors, Gregory's blood pressure sent him to the emergency room. Without my tuition payments, Lila was removed from private school. Ethan's company fired him too. Customs work runs on trust. No one wanted client accounts handled by a man whose wedding funding had been pulled at the altar while he owed his ex-fiancee a mountain of debt.

Misty said. “Something else that stays between us,” Thea said. “Of course.” Thea leaned in again. “When I shifted last week, I didn’t just get my wolf and lose my memory.” “You were gifted by the goddess,” Misty whispered just as softly. Thea pulled back and looked into Misty’s eyes. “How’d you know?” “Little things here and there,” Misty said. “When I started doing research on late shifters, there was an account of a late shifter that was . . . also that way. Not much else was known about her because she disappeared. No one ever heard from her again.”

It's with a heavy mind that Chasing Shifters will be going to a 2x a wk updating. Life has gotten much busier for me and as of now, and I can only do updates 2 days a wk. so look out for new episodes on Weds and Sats. This change will go into effect this wk. He raises his hand to slap me. Catching his wrist inches from my face, I smile as a growl leaves me. Shari has been teaching me to control the shift so I can stand on my hind legs. I can shift to either wolf or Lycan. Zarah is special. She holds that ability. Zarah slowly comes forward as white fur sprouts along my arm, long black dagger like claws erupts and I stand tall.
