Novel & Cerita Characteristics Of Romance Novels

If I put them into another novel as the main character, the novel would be tagged with the #DarkRomance trope. These are just my thoughts, but what do you think about them?

It reminds me of all the romance books that I’ve read. I giggle quietly when I think about it, catching Lia’s attention. “I just thought about something weird.” I tell her when I catch her curious glance. “Mind sharing?” “You know how in every romance book the quiet female protagonist has that one and only girl friend? The one she reveals all her secrets to. The nosy and loud one, that drags the protagonist to a club or a party whenever she feels down, no matter how much the main character doesn’t want to go. Like, a stubborn, extremely outgoing person…” I start.

Then, it just froze and asked Ernesta back, “Weird how?” “Don't you think it's kind of illogical?” After checking its system data, 001 came up with an answer, “Did you forget, master? This is a romance novel world, and romance novels don't need to make too much sense. All the stuff that happens is just meant to make the main characters fall in love.” Ernesta had never read a romance novel, so she didn't get it. But she had a completely different explanation than 001.
