Grey attacked the moment both wolves hit the ground. Massive and brutal. All teeth and claws going straight for Kade’s throat. Kade dodged. Grey was faster than he looked. They circled each other. Grey’s brown wolf was huge. Scarred from decades of fights. Kade’s black wolf was younger, sleeker. Grey lunged again. This time aiming low just like Dana said he would. Kade jumped and came down on Grey’s back. Bit into his shoulder.

Due to my instinct, even without weapons, I used my fighting stance in case he attacks.

Kimber stood by, watching the ensuing chaos in horror. “Dragon, I'll get you, all of you,” he screamed, as Nick and Adam held him down.But Madchen paid no attention, as she watched Drago turn a shade of blue, and foam at the mouth. “Drago!” She dropped to her knees, shaking him by the shoulders, but he didn’t respond. Instead, he stared up at the lights, seeming catatonic. His green eyes faded to a deep black, rolling to the back of his head.

My hair was going grey. A jolt of ice shot through me. My smile faltered, replaced by a look of dawning horror. I hadn't had a single grey hair a week ago. Now, there it was. I shouldn't have had grey hair at all. Charles had a full head of dark hair! I didn't smell dye on him. I thought he said the lycan genes would undo some of the werewolf curse.

"I was eight when she came back. It felt like meeting a stranger. She claimed she'd given the baby up for adoption, and my father... he took her back like nothing had happened. He's a good man, and it makes him vulnerable." Damien's voice dropped to a whisper. "A week later, Philip Payne and his family were found shot dead in their Georgia apartment." I gasped. "Did she...?" I couldn't finish the question. "I don't know," Damien admitted, his unseeing eyes focused on some distant point. I'd always known Mrs. Grey was manipulative, but murder? Surely there had to be another explanation. "Is Danish Rob...?" I began, piecing it together. "Yes," Damien confirmed. "He's that child."

Kyle growled. I thought my father was scary, but Kyle… He was the new evolution. His claws were sharp but not as sharp as Ryu’s, with dusty black fur that made him look like the old wolf from several tales. His ears were hairy, his eyes brown and somehow cute, but his face was stern and fierce. He growled as his black tail rose up, swinging around as he held his sword. “Show me what you’ve got.”

Afterwards, the demon tribe launched attacks on Charles one after another. “Die!” Charles shouted coldly. He was supposed to look for Jade but he did not find her and a dumb lion said she was dead. He was already furious, but he was surging with killing aura now. His killing mode was on instantly. The blood-red light in his hand was actually a dagger called God-slaying Dagger. It was a spiritual treasure that could even kill gods. Killing the demon tribe with the dagger was even a walk in the park. Poof! Poof! Poof!

However, to his surprise, the wolf was attacked and then sent flying by a purple aura. It was the first time in Lucas’ life that something unexpected had occurred to him. The purple aura that had hit the wolf had come from Cherry. Purple aura meant that the person was a Grade S Genetic Fighter. Lucas turned to look at Cherry who still had an indifferent expression on her face. At that moment, Blake had fled with the three Rank 5 Evolved Ones, while the rest had died. From the beginning, Lucas had not planned to let Cherry die as there was a chance she knew where the Dark Heart was. Thus, Lucas ensured her survival.

Azzrail's POV "Once I heard the shattering of the glass, I knew something was about to happen, so I managed to take one, she isn't like any wolf I've ever seen, it's not about her strength or her element, there is something else.
