Hate. I've had that face multiple times a day. The only thing that brought a smile to my face was Melody. Her sweet calming voice, her touch when we brushed up on each other, or her cute little giggle sound she made. She tried hiding her laugh, but I always heard her laugh. It made my day seeing her happy. Even with some of the things she's been through, she still found some way to smile. Charlie slowly moved to where the other chair was in the room and watched Nick and Jame's who still had their guns focused on me.

But for right now, in this moment, at long last, she was finally truly happy. Jonathan was waiting for him when Charlie arrived, which was no surprise. He had not been able to wipe the smile off of his face the entire stroll back to his own stateroom, and now that he was sitting across from his friend, absently thumping his hands on the arms of his chair, his attitude had not changed. “It went well, then?” Jonathan asked. He had offered Charlie a brandy, which had been refused, a sure sign that something was different. “She’s… incredible,” he replied with a deep sigh.

There stands Charlie, with a dashing smile and a coffee mug in hand. I force out a smile, still not sure how I got here and why I’m not dripping wet like I should, unless someone changed my cloths… “Where are my cloths?” I ask darkly, my smile immediately fading. Charlie just chuckles, walking with the coffee mug towards me before actually handing it to me. “Relax, I let them to dry. They were soaked wet.” What the fuck? So does that mean…No way! Before I can voice out my thoughts, Charlie lets out a squeaky laugh as if reading my thoughts.

He wasn't sure whether to be angry or thankful to Art for making him laugh. “Well, before you get up there and start playing more music, we'll go see if there's any food left. Charlie's been thinking about those smoked tenderloins for the last hour,” Victor said. The Alpha watched in amusement as Charlie gave his famous Pikachu face. It was the perfect mixture of shock and an expression like he had done something wrong. The Omega's cheeks turned red. He couldn't believe his mate sold him out and told Art he'd been thinking about eating after stuffing his face with two platefuls at dinner time.

I was taken aback so I pushed him away. "Charlie and I have been close friends for years, Mr. de Guzman. I am one of the sole witnesses of his life. I never saw him smile again until he met you." He replied, his cold voice turned profound. Never saw him smiling, huh? That is not the case for me, though. Ever since I met Charlie, I always noticed him smiling at me, and I thought it was in his nature to keep on doing that. "Did he tell you about our secret?" I asked him upfront.

I say, intentionally whispering in her ear as an excuse to lick it. "Have your fun while the contract is signed until tomorrow. After than, let's see how you will behave the way you usually do, baby boy." She says. Hmm, I likey! Smiling at her, she smirks back at me as Charlie gets no understanding of what we were doing. "Guys, it's creepy. Stop it." He says as I chuckle. "It's not. It's sexy." She argues. "Charlie, I'm seeing you off by afternoon before I leave for my schedule. You packed everything?"

They have started enjoying each other’s company. His smile was genuine and entirely too dangerous for her peace of mind. She thought to herself, his smile gonna be death of her. A few minutes later he crossed the ballroom toward her. Elara’s pulse betrayed her immediately. It happens every single time and she couldn’t help. Ridiculous. Absolutely ridiculous. She smiles brightly at me and says, “I made you a pallet.” She looks so proud of herself that I know I can’t tell her anything, but, “Thank you.” She nods as she finishes up her work and I step away as the fire is now roaring. Charlie sits down in front of it and puts a marshmallow on a stick and Magnolia quickly sits beside him doing the same thing. I can’t help but smile, they brought all the things they needed to make themselves feel comfortable and happy.

I say shyly, blushing red, we haven't talked until last night, and I was fighting until now. "Alexie" he says pulling me into his arms, hugging me, kissing my lips. "You won" I say happy for him, he worked, they all did worked so hard for this. "We did, it's all because of you" he says making blush red. "M..Me?" I stutter?
