He leaned down, capturing Dean’s lips with an intensity that left no room for escape. Joe’s kiss was ruthless and commanding, carrying the unmistakable weight of someone who expected complete control, without the slightest trace of tenderness. I opened it to see Joe standing there holding a bouquet of red roses. "Hello Olivia," He said in a smooth voice. "Come in," I said, stepping aside to let him in. He leaned in to kiss my cheek before handing me the flowers. "You look pretty," He said. "Hey, Champ!" He crouched beside Jake as I went to dip the flowers in a game of water. I stood at the kitchen counter and watched the both of them. Jake had not completely taken to Joe, he was still a little reserved, but Joe was determined and I'm sure that with a little time, they would be best buddies – If we got married.
