Astrid's pov "My mate is here!" Cherry said, pride swelling in her words, she looked at Taylor, a silent expression requesting permission. Taylor waved her hand dismissively. Cherry leaped up from her chair and rushed off to meet her mate, in his hold a brown rabbit. She kissed him passionately, wrapping her hand around his neck. "I know you are very happy to see your mate," Carla said upon Cherry's return before she could even sit down, "But you should apply some decorum because if you react like that over a little bunny what are the rest of us supposed to do when our mates bring in a real game?"

“The two kids were quite close in the past. I don’t know why, but Cherry’s been getting increasingly bad-tempered.” Grapie’s eyes became teary. “Cherry said I stole Mama Sherry’s heart, so she doesn’t like me anymore.
