If I were to take away choice, the game would be even more predictable than it already is.” The Game Master shrugged, looking almost bored. “You think the games are predictable?” I scoffed, feeling a quick flash of anger wash through me.

Dana was called next, then Samantha, Jasmine, Ebony and Olivia, the girls made their picks until only five men remained. What happened next, Chloe wasn’t prepared for. A frenzy of feeding erupted, the pairs watching in horror as the vampires descended. “Welcome to the Love Games,” the vampire announced, blood dripping from his lips. “A love story to die for.” Ebony tried to bolt, earning a mark on her arm for her trouble. Chloe reached for her man’s hand, and he gripped it tightly.

He does not soften it or reroute it or find a polite way to move me to one side. He just looks at me, registers what I have said, and adjusts.

I was wondering if you want something else for the theme of the wedding.’ I said, Tobi stayed quiet for the next few seconds before finally answering me. ‘Let’s just go for the enchanted theme.’ He said before ending the call. My mouth agape upon hearing his answer, does that mean we both wanted to have the enchanted theme?
