I. CHOOSE. YOU (A Nigerian coming of age Novel)

I. CHOOSE. YOU (A Nigerian coming of age Novel)

I just had one question still lingering behind. "Why me?" I asked "Trust me I'm not the right person for this job. Dili deserves a whole lot better than me" As sad as that sounded, it was honestly the truth. There were better people out there, people that were not me, that were not trying to fix there broken selves. "Dili was right" Mrs Uzora frowned. She looked...angry? This was the first time I had ever seen such a look on her face. Usually she was always smiling or laughing. This was definitely new. I gulped

His house is smaller than his nostrils just to sleep, the rest of the time he is curled up in a nightclub, dancing in music, drinking alcohol to relieve sadness, sometimes having things to do and dragging his body, solve the problem, then go back to lie down in the nightclub. His life is not boring, it is not right to say noisy. - Mr. Vu, the big brother assigned him the task of resolving conflicts at the pier that took the area into his hands. A person close to Nhi Lang came to give the news. Mac Vu immediately jumped up and sat up, just when he was bored, he had work to do, as if he did it to relieve his mood. Han Da saw that and smiled, a mocking smile: - Do you need me to help you?

HIS ARRANGED WIFE

HIS ARRANGED WIFE

I also couldn't stop smiling, as a result of my agitation. All I said was the truth. Life was a game itself. A game that was never willing to end. All that filled my heart was joy. Getting married to her was the greatest thing I had ever done. Indeed, people could change. Everyone, absolutely everyone, could be given a chance. No one deserved death. Everyone deserves happiness. Happiness was just one of life's games. We only had to view happiness if we wanted it. It was Mia and I choosing to make, and we made the right choice together.

the plot is good.. the story is presented in a way that the characters background is detailed one at a time.. it's quite interesting ! the only problem is that you cant read it thru and thru.. the coins takes such a long time to be earned... the english is okey.. simple and understandable..... .

Claimed By The Voss Twins

Where I existed as myself. "Yes," I said. "Are you?" "I'm getting there. It's different than I expected. But better." "Different how?" "I thought happiness would be... simpler. Someone choosing me. A clear role. A defined future. But it's not. It's complicated and messy and I'm choosing it anyway." "That's the mature version of happiness. When you're choosing something despite it being difficult." "Is that what you're doing? Choosing this despite it being difficult?" "Yes. Every day. I'm choosing partnership with Nico instead of trying to escape into invisibility. Choosing visibility instead of comfort. Choosing real over safe."

The Billionaire Broken Bride—Married To My Enemy.

The Billionaire Broken Bride—Married To My Enemy.

ALESSA'S POV I used to think peace came from people. From being chosen. Being loved right. Being seen. But sitting here, cross-legged on the living room couch, my laptop balanced on one knee, I realized something: Peace didn’t come from being chosen. It came from choosing myself. And happiness? It wasn’t a reward you earned through suffering. It was a free gift you chose to unwrap every day. The soft tapping of my keyboard echoed through the quiet room. The lights were low, the air unmoving, and outside, the night had folded its arms around the estate like a velvet coat.

Shattered Silence

Shattered Silence

If anyone would ever wrap their arms around me and make me feel safe again. Life is like a thunderstorm—unpredictable, sudden, and often unkind. But I’ve learned that happiness is not something that arrives at your doorstep wrapped in a bow. It’s a choice. A slow-burning, deliberate act of resistance. And when you choose it - when you really let yourself choose it - it seeps into the cracks of you. It gives you light in the places you thought would never be warm again. I am not saying I am happy spending time with him but...

From Housewife To His Worst Ex-Wife

From Housewife To His Worst Ex-Wife

Emma asks. I look over her head at Tony, who's watching me with so much love it makes my heart ache. "She lived happily ever after," I whisper. "Because she learned that happiness isn't something that happens to you. It's something you choose, every single day. And she chose it. Again and again and again." "I like that story," Emma murmurs, already drifting back to sleep. "Me too, baby girl. Me too." I close my eyes, surrounded by my family, in a home filled with safety and love and light.

Pretty good book with MANY ups and downs and new plot twists. Some loose ends never tied up, and a ton of incorrect pronoun usage in sentences or using the wrong character name that can make it hard to follow. Definitely want to see an epilogue to maybe close the loop on some side stories.

I loved the ending, but it was a bit rushed. I was hoping for some extra chapters, a bonus, or an epilogue. Is there going to be a book 2? I don't want to give anything away. But the ending seems incomplete. We need more, please!!!

Find Happiness This Time

Find Happiness This Time

I turned back to look at them again and again as I walked away. For a brief moment, it felt as if I could see the Wendy of my past life standing among the crowd, waving at me. Her lips moved, as though she were saying something. "This time, make sure you find true happiness!" I nodded silently to myself. I knew I would.
