Doted on by the Mafia Boss

Doted on by the Mafia Boss

Ryan knealt down to match her height and asked, "What is it, why are you here alone? And where are your stuffs." Her grip on the book tightened as she confessed slowly, "They took away my belongings!" Ryan's face turned grim when he heard he words, the temperature around him started to tense up as he asked with a murderous tone, "What did they do?" The girl who obviously couldn't estimate the anger bubbling up inside him confessed, "They snatched away my books, colours and even my lunch. I could only save this notebook from being stolen away."

Eternal Bond of the werewolf's curse

Eternal Bond of the werewolf's curse

Imade raised the book up, pulling out several gasps from the persons present. "The book of shadows." The queen muttered in a low tone. Realization hit Anabelle as she finally knew Imade had taken the book, when she had been searching for it. "The book of shadows has been a long ancient abomination, hidden from the witch. How did you got your hands around it?" The queen was livid and yet again, Anabelle could not give an answer to the question.

The Lycan's Obsession

The Lycan's Obsession

He mused as he looked at me with a glint of excitement. “Why is that?” I asked, frowning a little. He shrugged, “Being a librarian is far more interesting than working as a servant.” “So what is this book and why is it in this glass case?” Victor scratched his chin as he had a faraway look in his eyes. “Let me recall. This book is said to be evil and I think when King Brigdain’s army fought with the witch who cursed them, she accidentally left the book behind. But it had something sinister about it. The book could not be destroyed in any way no matter how hard one tried. Not knowing what to do with it, King Brigdain put it in this toughened glass that is hard to break and put it in a corner,

I am not often sucked into a story like this, but I actually care about the characters. the male lead is intriguing and mysterious. i like that the female lead, is strong. I'd love to see where you go with this. I'll be checking out your other stories while waiting and anticipating your next update
Dawn Cochran
In my honest opinion, it's a good story, but I'm not done with the book yet. I'm struggling with it. The author has drug the story out and jumps ahead without clarifying things. (Like all of a sudden, the FL has magic, but for 113 chapters, there is no mention of it or her being a hybrid.)

The Rejected Little Wolf

The Rejected Little Wolf

Leila said. “You said that you read the book even without being taught the language but as far as I know, that can only happen to that ancestor's descendants. Now my question is, are you part of our family and we have never heard of you?” Elana said. “You also said that your adoptive parents opened the book and tried to read it but failed in doing so due to the unknown language. You had also opened the book when you were small,” Marcus said. “And now, you just said that the book was stolen last week making it the assumption that the person who stole the book knew the language, he opened it, and read it before proceeding to kidnapping the witch,” Leila.

The Alpha's Contract Luna

I asked him and the disbelief was clear in my voice. “It took us two years to get the books in this library, some we got at auctions or from private collectors who didn't even know what they had, but some of them were much harder. We had to dig for some, especially those thought to have been lost in time. That's where we found the ddark hold; duringone of those digs, it was disguised to look like any normal book ,but I could feel the magic emanating from it ,aandwhen I opened it, it just changed and revealed itself. Everyone else that was part of the dig thought it was just a normal book,; Ihave no idea why it revealed itself when I touched it ,but,I immediately hid it and brought it back he

Escaping The World: Lost in Book (book 1)

Escaping The World: Lost in Book (book 1)

I dump my bag on the floor and read through the shelf while pulling books out and mumble as I go. ‘Even a book can be dangerous in the wrong hands.’ ‘Ignite.’ ‘Hell is empty and all the devils are here.’ ‘You’ll make bad choices. Sometimes you’ll choose the best of bad ones.’ ‘Tuesday is Fucked.’ ‘Everything’s a game. And now it’s your turn.’ I have a stack of about 10 books before I abruptly stop. "Next isle." I say and we walk up and down the library isles. I climb and jump to get books off of shelves and Aidan has to catch me a couple of times when I fell.

Bankrupting the Alpha: Crowned by the Dragon King

Bankrupting the Alpha: Crowned by the Dragon King

One heartbeat sped up excitedly. The hidden baby pulsed softly beneath the surface, quieter than the others but unmistakably present. Only after reassuring himself we were alright did Sol finally look toward the rest of the room. Order and Chaos stood near the sanctuary windows waiting silently. Marcus looked marginally calmer now, mostly because Pamela still refused to let him leave unsupervised. Hunter looked exhausted by all royal bloodlines in existence. Honestly? Reasonable. Sol inhaled slowly. “The book that was taken…” He looked toward Order briefly. “…appears to be an Origin Book.”

Siren in the Wind - book one of the MIT2 series

“You know what I’m reading, of course you do.” “I haven’t researched it as I stalked you on camera if that’s what you’re referring to.” Max smiled. “It’s a novel about a woman who rescued thousands of children by smuggling them out of the Warsaw Ghetto in World War II.” “Sounds heroic,” Max said. “I’ve just started, seems good so far.” Abby paused. Max seemed different, more reserved if it was possible. Reserved and distracted. “What’s wrong? Have you heard something?” His eyes shot to hers. “What makes you say that?”

The Alpha Can't Sense His Mate!

The Alpha Can't Sense His Mate!

I walked towards the shelf and squatted. With a click sound, I opened the hidden drawer on the last shelf and dragged out a dusty blue book - The real ancient witch’s book. “You said the book was missing,” Athaliah sneered, impatience rolled off her in bouts. “I set a trap just in case Ithra had other things up her sleeve. I got her in here and dangled the bait in her eyes.” I cleared my throat. “Eventually, she fell for it. But that’s beside the point. I picked up the fake version of the book in the woods on my way from picking herbs. Someone got a little angry at the lack of results and burned a part of it.”

Frequently Asked Questions

There seems to be a mix-up in the title you're asking about. 'The Abducted Book' isn't a novel I'm familiar with, but your description made me immediately think of the book I did get abducted by last year: 'The Library at Mount Char'. It's not called that, but the plot is exactly what you're hinting at—a group of people 'abducted' by a mysterious, god-like figure to become librarians of esoteric, dangerous knowledge. The main plot kicks off when their 'Father' vanishes, and the adopted siblings, each a master of a strange catalog like death or languages, begin a vicious power struggle to control the library and, by extension, reality itself.

It's less about a physical book being stolen and more about the characters themselves being the abducted custodians of forbidden texts. The central tension comes from Carolyn, who seems the weakest, using her wits and knowledge of the library's brutal rules to outmaneuver her terrifying siblings. The mood shifts from bizarre dark comedy to genuine cosmic horror, especially when you realize what the 'library' truly is and what 'checking out a book' can mean.
