Because happiness is not found in perfection. It is found in alignment. In choosing the right love. In building the right life. And as Maya stood in the family she had created with a husband who never failed her and children who filled her world with meaning one truth settled deeply within her heart:

I’m a fucking piece of meat and that’s how I find solace in this misery that I’ve been locked up throughout my whole existence. Am I happy? Yeah, probably, maybe, somehow.
