He walked over and carefully took Hammie from me. Hammie opened its eyes slightly in his arms. It stuck out its tongue and licked his fingers. It then weakly closed its eyes again. Christopher's eyes instantly turned red. He held Hammie tightly. His cold gaze swept across everyone present. His expression wasn't fierce. It wasn't anger either. In fact, there wasn't even much emotion in his eyes. But everyone he looked at instinctively stepped back. Amelia was frozen in place. Her lips trembled a little.
