Chrysanthemum Hand Tattoo Novels & Stories

Ansel says from right behind me. "I really don't like that.. But look, here, on his left hand." I say There is a red mark, it looks like a vine, wrapping around and around his index finger, it spreads across the back of his hand, around his wrist, where it ends in an open flower, with a pentagram in the center. It almost looks like a tattoo, in bright red ink. I check another vampire near by, he has a small red mark on his wrist, it's a pentagram, with a thin circle around it. The rest of the design is not there.

Diana sat in the lounge chair, hugging her knees close to her chest. A small, hitching sigh wracked throughout her. She inspected her hand for the thousandth time, peering at those crescent-shaped marks that Hecate's touch had left on her skin. They looked like tiny tattoos, drawn with black lines and resembling little moons. She had one on the inside of her wrist, another on that soft part beneath her thumb, and another right in the middle of her palm.

"I grew these yellow chrysanthemums myself, Donna Marchetti. I handpicked the prettiest nine blossoms and wrapped them especially for you. "You don't have to be polite with me, Donna Marchetti. It might be a lot of hard work growing these flowers, but the moment I thought about this bouquet bringing you joy, I didn't feel weary in the slightest." Upon hearing that, Leone Vittoria, my husband, instinctively pulled Carina into his embrace, his face etched with concern. Donna Marchetti scoffed and handed the flowers to the Soldato beside her. "Is that so? Why would you choose yellow chrysanthemums—a flower meant to wish death upon someone in our culture—if your intention was really to make me h

“Why is it like that? Did something go wrong?” “No love, nothing went wrong. It went very right. Look…” I take her hand and use one of her fingers to trace the outline of a twisted stem which encircles her nipple and leads to an orchid in the centre of her chest. “Orchids represent love, strength and courage.”

The third attendant dipped the brush into the molten ashes and looked at us both as if they were trying to figure something out. Whatever it was, when she was done, she began to draw on the right side of Ayame's right wrist. The brand was no bigger than two inches tall, one inch wide. She drew a simple, elegant crescent moon, a three-tongued flame between its points and a dainty little diamond in the middle of the flames. It was so small and yet held so much power, so much weight.

I never expected that in this life, I would use that memory to give it a name to tame it. Black flames erupt and consume my hand. I managed to draw it back but that black flame continues to linger on my hand. It doesn’t burn, though, but it is gradually subsiding. It burns smaller and continues to shrink in size until it is fully gone. All that remains is a black diamond tattoo on the side of my ring finger.

I don’t miss the way her eyes flicker to my father, as if this brings back memories of her own ceremony. She then says something in an unknown tongue and I feel a brief burning sensation on the fourth finger of my left hand. My eyes widen in shock when I see an intricate, woven tattoo with the letter V in the center - Vega and Volkova. “We all understand the gesture that you are now making. Taking the hand of the one who loves you is the symbol of the unspoken bond you two share; a bond you made when you were both five years old, and a bond that still persists.”

"I'll be enjoying every moment of it." My cheeks are steaming red and glancing over at Galina, she is also blushing with her gaze downcast. She proffers me her hand and I wordlessly take it as I'm burning with fury inside over the dastard. My eyes catch sight of the tattoo on his muscled upper arm. The black ink of the Christian Cross encircled by a fierce Dragon, made a dramatic striking contrast against his fair skin. Some girls would think it was bad of a guy, however, to me it was bad news about a guy.

He strode closer towards me while hiding something behind his back. "Flowers for my beautiful wife." He gave me a quick kiss, and the flowers smelled so beautiful as I accepted them. It's a double purple chrysanthemum mixed with pink roses and baby breath. Enzo remembers that I love this combination, and these are my favorites. When I was in Sorrento, I had chrysanthemums in my backyard in mixed different colors. Chrysanthemums are mother's love flowers. They bloom in May, Mother's Day month, and they're beautiful. Every color has its scent except for the white ones.

She finally gained her wit after a couple of cars passed by the road. “Oh, that…” She suddenly let out a chuckle. “You can say that I have uhm, picked strange people as my servants. But…” She pulled out her right hand, showcasing a beautiful henna that was drawn with dark red ink and has the length between the back of her hand until the lower ¼ of her forearm. The mesmerizing design was completed with a simple jewelry to make the hand less crowded.
