The Final Return

The Final Return

I have a fabulous friend. And if it isn’t obvious by now, the person that I am talking about is Christine Gyamfi. And if you don't know who she is, then read the other book; The Light's Shadow. It's an original book that she wrote herself. I personally didn't read the book, but I'm sure that you will. I mean, why are you reading this then? But that's beside the point. Christine is awesome. She is hilarious, kind, and sweet. The woman also treats everyone around her with respect. She is one of the few people that fuels my faith in humanity.

His Angel of Death

His Angel of Death

Chiara said while looking pointedly at Camille's body. Chiara looked around the office, it had a modern design and it was very masculine. The office had ceiling to floor glass windows facing the exterior of the building. She was just noticing it for the first time since she walked in. She had been so intrigued by her conversation with Camille that she forgot to check out the office. She stood up and moved around the office. She stopped by the bookcase and inspected the books. They were mainly business books, though there were a few classic novels in their midst. "Excuse me. I am a marketing manager in this company." Camille said, her voice sounding more shrill than usual.

The Regime (Book 2 of Kendra's Journey)

The Regime (Book 2 of Kendra's Journey)

This required a daily trip to the public showers with a petite and attractive brunette female attendant – who introduced herself as Josie- and two guards. Shackles were placed around her ankles while the soft spoken woman explained what they were about to do. Feeling defeated in an indescribable way, Kendra didn’t bother to acknowledge the information with words. Instead, she stood completely statue-like while her ankles and wrists were placed in irons. Then, upon command, she shuffled behind the female as best as she could with the heavy and cumbersome chains weighing her down. An occasional shove from a guard helped keep her momentum to their desired rate.

Omega (Book 2)

Omega (Book 2)

It was Chloe, Trisha's former roommate that had called out to him. He had almost forgotten she existed. Hurriedly, he walked to the empty seat and plopped down in it. “I saved it for you when I realised you're absent,” she said, professionally manipulating a gum in her mouth. Her blonde hair which was tied up in two buns was dyed black close to their ends, her mascara was black, lipgloss was black, too, and most of her clothing were. She looked like she had stepped out of a comic book where she had been the villain.

The mobster and the writer

The mobster and the writer

Maybe choosing one of those dresses was better. Together with Cami, I began to rummage. She dismissed them almost before I could tell her how ugly they were. She knew how to dress well. It was a Cindy. A Cindy? Yes, like the protagonist of my book. A Cindy is a girl 10 who has everything in this life and who is almost completely perfect. Cami was one of those girls. I was about to sigh in his face. Why couldn't I be a Cindy? Voucher. Maybe I'm not a Cindy, but I'm not too bad either. At least I can discern between shitty clothes and pretty clothes. It's something. I stopped Cami's hand when she was going from dress to dress. I saw it and knew it, it was mine.

Almost perfect

Almost perfect

Chimamanda thought to herself. Chidinma's fashion magazine is one of the most trending fashion magazines in Nigeria, Africa, U.S.A, the UK and Canada, so it was a big offer. "I'm in, just a date tho" Chimamanda rolled her eyes reluctantly like she wasn't so interested. " You've made a good decision, you won't regret it, ” Chidinma said almost immediately. "Hurray" Chisom screamed at the top of her lungs excitedly like a little girl that was handed sweets.

Tragedy of the African Cinderella (BlackBook 3)

Welcome to unedited Black book 3 of the Woods series. This book can be read independently. You can read it without adventuring into 'Married to a stripper'. I'll be extremely happy if those who haven't checked that book out do so. I hope you enjoy my works. Love you guys much much. Your humble author Zagzahzlau. ~••~ The Sunday night was frigid against unarmed skin in Buea--the city of legendary hospitality-- located in the southwest region of Cameroon.

Confessions Of An Exorcist

Confessions Of An Exorcist

Hi guys, my name is Chime Chinonso and I’m from Enugu, Nigeria. May I know your name and where you are from Confessions Of An Exorcist is one of my best stories and you are going to enjoy it. If you haven’t seen my other work “SHADOW” please do. It is worth the read. I’m gonna blow your mind. This work is completely an imaginative one. Any character in resemblance to actual person- living or deceased is a coincidence. Every character in this book is a product of the author’s imagination.

I have to say, this is an excellent read, right from the first chapter it just grasps you. I know it isn't comedy but the choice of words just had me giggling. I just know it's about to get intense. If you're wandering whether to read it or not, take it from me, you must! You won't regret it!

I love the dark part of this story. It's touchy and realistic. Even though I just read the first chapter, I felt every meaningful touch and idea the author wanted to pass through. I'm so impressed and I definitely love this. Keep it up, writer.

“I believe it is my passion for anything arts and fun, as writing allows me to be myself and to write my own stories. Writing, as it is, allows me to always express myself in my own stories. “Wow that is indeed impressive,” Mr. Ross added. “Do you have any role models? Any writers you look up to?” he asked her. As someone who loved a lot of African writers, Isioma found it extremely hard to answer. After careful thought, “Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie and also JK Rowling,” Isioma said with a sense of conviction deep in her heart. “Okay. Those are good writers. I read a lot of Chinua Achebe myself.”

I really enjoyed season 1, it's a really good plot and the characters are interesting, but I think sometimes the story has a really slow pace so you need to be patient. I hope there were some mysteries resolved in this first part but I trust them to be cleared on season 2.
