He seemed to come out of nowhere; he wasn’t there, and then he was, his large wings batting through the air, stirring up a breeze, even in the distance. She thought I was nothing. Jane—no, Talia—smirked from the steps, admiring the execution. “Well,” Chloe said, looking over the crowd with supreme confidence. “I’ve shown my bloodline’s worth. The Northern pack retaliated!” My heart stopped. “No... it couldn't have—” Yasmine shoved me back down to the ground with everything she had. “It did!” She screamed, her voice cracking as a fresh wave of tears tracked through the dirt on her cheeks.

Both of them confusedly stared me as if they want an answer for being a rude to them. "Is there a problem Chlo-Chlo?" The clown headed ask me with her depressing voice. I looked away and squeezed my palm. I don't want to be rude towards her, she's been good to me all the time and maybe she's the one who take care of me but it's just that I'm scared of her, to all of them. They are a werewolf and I'm a human, they are the predator while me is the prey. I know that all of them see's me as a delicious food.

Clarabelle said. They all stepped through the portal, and as it closed, Mammon turned back and saw Clarabelle grab her nightwalker’s neck, pull it closer to her, and hug it tightly. She rubbed her right cheek against the monster's head, tightening her arms around its neck. “Awww, you're so cute,” Clarabelle said. The monster roared in pain, and as her grip got too tight, its neck snapped. “Oops,” she said. She smiled suddenly, then turned to Mammon before the portal completely closed.
