I looked past her, out the window, and beheld the training field in the distance.
"Do it," Catherine said, her voice softer now, little more than a whisper. "Put an end to this circus."
I closed my eyes tightly. My hand swept over the command scroll. One dash of pen, and it was finished.
But before my fingers could touch the parchment, the doors burst open.

She entered, her face ablaze, her hands clutched around a tightly rolled bundle of papers, her eyes blazing with anger.
" You'll want to read these before you do something you can't undo," she panted, slinging the papers onto the desk in front of me.
