Clarisse Agbegnenou Novels & Stories

"Are you being wary?" Jasmine asked as she also wipes the corner of her lips. "No, I'm just curious about what makes a Jasmine Aldred like her to go at my botique and look for me personally." Clarisse replied truthfully. She's not wary or scared at Jasmine because she knew that she didn't do anything to offend the center of the high society. Seeing Clarisse being calm and telling the truth. Jasmine smiled and didn't waste any time. She opened her bag and pull a picture of a lady smiling.

My heart was beating fast when I recognized that it was Jeyah. I turned my gaze to Clarisse and gladly she got what I meant, so she stood up and approached her. I had no idea what Clarisse told her—that I saw her smiling softly. Damn! She is really pretty. And now that she is smiling, she looks even more beautiful. After a while, I saw them approaching towards us. "Hi bubs, I would like to introduce to you my classmate in Psychology 104, Jeyah Abby Arguello. You know she is intelligent and smart in our class," Clarisse uttered, showing her sweet smile.

I shifted uncomfortably on my seat and decided to head to the restroom. I stood in front of the large mirror, and I felt dirty from the way Adrian looked at me. Like some prey, like the next woman to warm his bed. I splashed cold water on my neck and returned just as Liam’s phone buzzed. He was now sitting alone at the table He picked it up without looking at the screen. “Clarisse.” I froze halfway to the table. Clarisse is his childhood friend, current girlfriend, or fiancée, depending on which headline you believe.

I asked. “I am a freshman too. I’m Klaress. Klaress Ledesma and you are?” she said while offering her hand for a handshake. “I’m Abbigayle Jimenez. You can call me Abby.” I said. “It’s nice to meet you, Abby.” She said. “It’s nice to meet you too, Klaress.” “You’re so pretty.” She said. “What did you say?” I asked her. “I said you’re so pretty even from afar I could tell that you are.” She said. “Don’t get me wrong, okay? I’m not a lesbian. I just really think that you’re pretty.”

"Your daughter looks stunning. I regret that she’s not the one married into this family." Clarissa smiled proudly. "If your stepson were fully healthy, maybe I would have considered it. But I can’t waste my life and beauty on a cripple," Clarissa said with a fake sweetness that fooled no one. "I understand you. Too bad Tristan doesn’t want to get married," Tasha replied, shaking her head. "It’s fine. I’m still young and beautiful. Marriage isn’t my top priority either," Clarissa shrugged. "Shall we go inside?" Agnes said, about to walk in with Clarissa when the flashing lights and screams suddenly escalated.

"I didn't make a false accusation. A year ago, it was Lawrence Hamfort who raped me." Clarisse said tremblingly: "At that time there was a problem with my dad's factory, and he told me that he had a way to help my dad's factory. He requested I come to him, right on the hillside of our village…" Arielle turned her head to look at her and was shocked. A year ago, Clarisse was actually raped by Lawrence, but she didn't know, what was she doing at that time? She thought for a while and realized she was head over hill in love with Edward.

Clarice raised her hand and called Alice. When Alice saw her, she immediately approached, and when Sebastião also saw Nicholas, his expression became suspicious, but he still followed Alice. "How are you, Alice? Have you seen Agnes?" Clarice waited until Alice approached and then asked. "Did you drink this?" Alice walked over to the chair and saw a glass of water on the table. "No." Clarice shook her head, and without a word, Alice picked up the glass of water and poured it into her mouth. However, as soon as she took a sip, she spat it out.

Abigail said with a smile on her face. She was referring to a woman who had short cropped hair at her shoulders and wide eyes, with small lips. She smiled at Claire, an adorable dimple showing at the left side of her cheek. "And the twin sisters here are Claris and Khloe." Claire guessed the nicer one to be Claris because of her outward appearance. "Don't be deceived by their looks. They are all nice ladies." She said pointing to the last one. "This is Bernice." Bernice was a short woman with a kind smile. One that would make one spill all their secrets and cry on her shoulders. Claire liked her the most. Her hair was packed in a ponytail and covered with a scarf.

I asked softly. Clarisse's face burns in embarrassment. “I am sorry, I understand it is. A sensitive topic,” I quickly said. “Can I sit down?,” she asked. I nodded. “Thank you,” she said as she sat down. “Are you okay?,” “Yes, I met Hugo at a party. My father introduced us. I didn't want to be his mistress, you know but I did what I had to do. My father had some issues with his company…we were going bankrupt. Hugo offered to help. If I became his side piece, I agreed it was only the way to save father, and I offered to work at Winston as his assistant…,” she paused, tears rolling down her cheeks.

"You're his assistant, Adrian? Could you please order drinks from the front?" Who was this woman? Clara stared at the exclusive VIP card she was handed. Owners Clarissa! Clara felt a sense of familiarity. She planned to search for her on Baidu once she had the card. 'No way! Clarissa is a gold mining entrepreneur and owner of a globally famous app. If that's the case, she's probably very close to Adrian.' After putting her phone away, Clara bought the best drinks in the cafe using Clarissa's gold VIP card and returned with three drink tumblers to the table where her boss was sitting.
