“So, really, I'm fine with ninjas delivering donuts anytime.” Freddie chuckled. “I think there's a business idea there.” “Was there really an option for clowns?” I asked. “Yes.” Freddie nodded. “I must say I really hope I'm invited to a wedding again soon.” I laughed, thinking of a posse of clowns showing up to a wedding reception. “You really are a troublemaker, aren't you?” “I like to make people laugh,” Freddie replied with a shrug. “Everyone in my family is so serious. It's all politics and manners and being proper. My mother says it's my way of rebellion.”

I tried to push him away but he just held me tighter. “It’s OK,” he whispered, stroking my hair. I started to cry again into his chest; thoughts of Richard being hurt earlier flooded my brain. Freddie was tall for his age; he was ten, the same as Richard. They were best friends, and had been since we moved in four years ago. He had chocolate brown hair, which he usually spiked up with too much gel, and light blue eyes that were like windows to his soul. When Richard looked at you it made you feel like you could fly.

I asked,my voice dripping with eagerness to fill my curiosity. Freddie's jaw dropped as if he has just spilled an important secret he wasn't supposed to say. “ Ah!- well– um, Clark is quite famous around this bar you know. Lot's of folks who frequents this bar knows him as a hell of a terrible drinker. It's purely coincidental that I know he's name considering that I come here often.”

Frederick said and coughed blood as he forced himself to talk. “ shhh don't say anything, save your strength ” Caleb said . Frederick managed to laugh “ I'm glad you still care for me, I'm glad you still forgave me after all I've done to.. to you and Celine ” he coughed again “ but, atleast I'm free...im free from the dark magic...
