The Ninth Cipher

The Ninth Cipher

Adrian's breathing became shallow. His eyes reached the final line. Never allow anyone to assemble the Ninth Cipher. If the Ninth Cipher is completed... History will not change. It will be erased. Before he could process those words... His phone rang. Unknown Number. He answered. Silence. Then a calm male voice spoke. "We've been waiting for you, Dr. Vale." The line disconnected. At that exact moment, every television in the apartment turned on by itself. Every screen showed the same image. A black background.

Scorned Luna; Betrayed By My Alpha

Scorned Luna; Betrayed By My Alpha

she exclaimed, her voice warm and engaging. The students sprang to their feet, their faces filled with respect and admiration. "Good morning, Ma'am!" they chorused in unison, their voices echoing through the room. Hazel's eyes sparkled with excitement as she began to speak. "Today, we'll be having a special upgrading class. We'll be welcoming some of our Class One students who have shown exceptional potential, and a select few will be fast-tracked to Class Four, skipping Class Three altogether!" The room buzzed with anticipation as Hazel paused for dramatic effect. Then, with a flourish, she gestured to the door, and five students entered, their faces beaming with pride and nervousness.

Debbie
Love this story so far. I hope she gets her revenge and second chance at real true love this time. Karma for the alpha and sister that betrayed and cheated on her. The Moon goddess will help her. Hopefully she is a special and powerful wolf.

Considering all comments between chapters seem to disappear, I expect this to as well... This story starts with a lot of promise. Unfortunately, it soon becomes disjointed and VERY repetitive. It feels like there’s been a lot of cut and paste going on. The author loses many opportunities to enthral.

Let Me Go, Mr. Hayes!

Let Me Go, Mr. Hayes!

But under Elena's gaze, he couldn't bring himself to refuse. He could only nod helplessly. Elena hurried out the door to catch the bus. Shaun wanted his driver to take her, but she declined, and he didn't insist. Brightsun Elite High School. Elena jogged all the way to her classroom. As soon as she stepped inside, she noticed some unusual glances. When she looked over, her classmates quickly lowered their heads, as if trying to hide something. Elena didn't pay much attention. She calmly walked to her seat and sat down.

The Professor's Beautiful Secret

The Professor's Beautiful Secret

“Good morning, everyone. Unfortunately, Professor Milgram had to attend to an emergency and she won't be able to take her class today. With her permission, we'll be having Advanced Literature instead.” There were murmurs among the students but none of them seemed to have any issue with the arrangement. Except Eliana. She looked like she was ready to leave the auditorium but I was surprised when she stayed till the very end of the class. Once I was done, she quickly packed her books and tried to blend in with the crowd on her way out. I waited until she had almost gotten to the area beside the stage where the podium was, then I said, “Miss Hart, can you wait behind? I want to have a quick wor

The Ninth and Final Bailout on Our Love

The Ninth and Final Bailout on Our Love

While walking past Stacy, she tried to reach out to grab my dress hem, but Adrian took a step to the side and shielded me from her. His arm was strong and steady, and he held on tightly to my hand without ever letting go. We entered the elevator. Just before the doors closed, Melvin suddenly yelled, "Jocelyn!" It was so loud that the entire hall reverberated with his voice. The doors soon slid shut. Adrian looked down at my hand and held it again. "Why are your hands so cold?" "Just butterflies." "There's no need for that," he said. "I'm here." We soon reached the third floor. The doors slid open, and bright light poured in. I took a deep breath and walked out the doors.

The Pleasure Archive

The Pleasure Archive

His eyes locked onto me immediately, a dark smile tugging at his lips. “Miss Bennett, you’re late,” he said, his voice smooth but commanding. “Come to the front. We were just discussing themes of submission in classic literature. Perhaps you can help demonstrate.” My heart raced as I walked to the front of the class, feeling every eye in the room on my barely-covered body. Twenty elite students, mostly rich, dominant men, watched with hungry interest. “Yes, Professor,” I whispered, dropping to my knees in front of his desk without being told. “How would you like me to demonstrate?”

We're Just Classmates, Aren't We?

We're Just Classmates, Aren't We?

The calm composure on her face cracked. "Even classmates can have coffee together. Won't you try it? It's your favorite." "No need. People change. I don't drink coffee anymore." I'd barely taken a few steps when I heard glass shatter behind me. But people and things that had nothing to do with me didn't deserve a second glance. We never saw each other again after that, though when I had dinner with Mom once, she mentioned Felix in passing. She said he was an idiot who got scammed and landed in prison. He wouldn't be out for years.
