Wade finally reached and plucked the leather bound book, careful for no loose pages to slip out. Wade and Marc got to work. “Marc?” Klara’s voice crackled into his head. “Everything OK?” He was surprised she’d contacted him, and worried something was wrong. “Just wanted to check it worked.” He chuckled, “It did, I’m just looking into the coronation want to join?” Five minutes later there was a hesitant knock on the door. “Come in,” Marc stated, glad when Klara pushed it open. “Wade you can go.” He nodded and slipped past Klara as she walked in.

They were running out of time. He turned to Myrra. “The First King’s writings, do they say anything about what happens after the Crowns are destroyed?” Myrra scanned the ancient script again, her fingers tracing the faded carvings. A flicker of realization crossed her face. “…Power given, power taken. In sacrifice, the world is reshaped.” Elior’s stomach dropped. “Reshaped?” Myrra swallowed. “It doesn’t say how. Only that if the Crowns fall, everything changes.”

he shrugs, “if you leave here you'd just find my colleagues and attack them. No, you either make your stand here and die or you try to retreat and die. Those are your only options.” “Well, aren't you just a ray of sunshine” Corrin mocks, “what makes you think you'll win?” “Because I will,” he says flatly. What the fuck are we going to do? “Enough talking” Ash roars as he lunges at the Knight. He brings his claws down on the man, but he's faster, pulling his Claymore and using it to block the blow. The impact makes a screeching sound as his claws scrape the steel. He uses the blunt side of the Claymore to push Ash back then he swings.

They were noting down something and then they moved backwards into the decontamination zone. I walked down the stairs slowly with my mentor and I held in a breath as through the glass and staff taking off their hazmat suits, I could see the contamination zone. I could see that there was row after row of cages of roaring alphas chained. I flinched with the betas with the sound increasing while Dr. Dawson stood his ground and smirked. "Those are people in cages?" I stuttered out my sentence wiping my eyes as I couldn't believe what I was seeing.

“The Unnamed realises the inferiority of our chaos shards, a true shard is infinitely more powerful.” The cloak grew over the mask again, as the masks stopped rotating, the mask in front being one screaming in agony. “Its time the Unnamed became serious then.” A small portal opened and a book floated out. It was old, with inscriptions everywhere. The book opened on its own, and a red glow came from within. “Seventh Chapter of the Necronomion: Judgement of the Dark gods.”

In a flash of an eye all three of them were dire wolves running through the woods, wild, free. Not for long, Pearl knew she needed to go back to the mortal realm and save Ethan. END OF BOOK 1
